i think this was my least favorite out of the series so far. the deductions and commission of the crimes were also way too far-fetched for me even if i suspend my disbelief whenever i read these. hopefully the next one will be better 😫

Memori itu kadang aneh banget ya~ ada hal-hal di masa kecil yang bisa diingat dengan mudah, tapi ada juga ingatan di masa remaja yang hilang begitu aja (⌒_⌒;)

Waktu mulai baca vol.14 ini, aku kira dulu belum pernah baca sama sekali. Tapi, begitu bagian **SPOILERBANGET(^^)** waktu pemecahan kasus, dan mereka berusaha membuktikan alibi di gua-gua tempat mereka menginap itu, tiba-tiba ada memori yang kembali~~

"Ini gak mungkin bisa kayak gini, ah! Masak bisa kedengeran dari arah depan, tapi ga bisa kedengeran dari gua sebelahnya..," seperti biasa aku sotoy.

"Coba, coba... Kakak di kamar, aku di ruang tamu, 'kan kehalang dinding. Nanti Kakak baca omongan dari komik ini, trus aku bisa kedengeran nggak..," si Beruk memilih rekonstruksi kejadian.

Aku membawa komik Kindaichi pinjaman dari rental itu ke kamar, si Beruk nungguin di depan kamar, di ruang makan.

"Kalo aku ngomong gini, lu di ruang makan gitu kedengeran, ya?"

"Ya iyalah!" si Beruk ngegas. Mungkin terharu punya kakak bego. "Berarti komiknya bener, kalo dari depan suaranya bisa kedengeran. Sekarang aku pindah ke ruang tamu."

Sesaat kemudian, "Sekarang Kakak baca pake suara kayak tadi!" teriak si Beruk dari ruang tamu.

Aku mulai membaca dialog orang-orang di komik. Si Beruk berteriak, "Yah! Kedengeran, Kak!!"

"Kok bisa?!"

Dari dapur terdengar seruan Ibu, "Kedengeran!! Kedengeran semuanyaa~"

Aku dan si Beruk lupa, rumah kami kecil dan gak cocok dijadikan lokasi pembunuhan~

Begitu teringat hal ini (dan mungkin inilah yang aku tunggu-tunggu setiap kali membaca Kindaichi edisi Premium ini), rasanya senang sekali .｡･ﾟﾟ･(╥‿╥)･ﾟﾟ･｡. Seperti menemukan 'permata' yang hilang~

Tapi sampe sekarang aku beneran masih penasaran soal suara antar gua itu...
Apakah beneran bisa kedengeran dari depan tapi dari gua samping gak kedengeran?
Rasanya ini harus dicoba di gua beneran~ ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡ wahahahaa~~ //kesotoyannyabelumsembuh

ini bagusss. meskipun premisnya masih ala ala Kindaichi yg biasanya, tapi eksekusinya mantap, trus mayatnya banyak ehe.

You know, I've yet to read a volume of this series that I don't get into. Every volume has me spellbound & guessing until I finish (or until I peek) the manga.

This particular case file has Kindaici & his childhood friend Miyuki visiting an island with a group of friends for vacation. Typical innocent high school hyjinks are expected, (meaning no drugs, booze, ect) but when they arrive they quickly find that they aren't the only people on the island. While at first mingling with a group of guys who love to stage fake battles is fun, people start dying off one by one in a mysterious fashion. It's up to Kindaichi to solve the mystery before everyone dies.

Would I recommend this to a friend? YES, even if they hadn't read any of the previous volumes. The great thing about the Kindaichi Case Files is that each volume can stand alone as a story. While one or two past events may be mentioned, they're essentially not necessary to know as far as the current plotline goes. (Although the editors nicely point out which volumes you should read if you really want to know what they're talking about.)

Dùng lưỡi dao hận thù để xoá bỏ vết thương quá khứ thì vết thương có mất đi đâu, ngược lại còn sâu hơn. Tình yêu khiến con người ta mạnh mẽ đến nỗi có thể hi sinh để bảo vệ người mình yêu, và cũng khiến con người ta có niềm tin vào cuộc sống tươi đẹp hơn. While this is not a bad volume, I think I'm getting burned out on this series. The revenge-based killings are just getting redundant. Most of the time I don't even feel bad when someone gets killed, because I know that they probably did something to deserve someone trying to kill them...

This one is a island version locked room mystery. I don't come across that many outdoor murder mysteries, so this was very refreshing.
