I’m done.

I’m not even in the MC and it still tries to run my life. I was proud of my brother when he joined but I never expected to be forced into the life right along with him. The MC has taken everything from me; my freedom, my identity, my first love. So when I found out my brother was sleeping with my best friend, I officially had enough. I didn’t sign up for this life and I’m done letting it control me. No matter what anyone else says.

She’s a troublemaker I can’t fucking forget.

She’s always been able to get herself into trouble. So when she took off, I knew if I didn’t follow her, she’d get hurt. I had no fucking clue why she was so pissed off but I promised her I’d protect her a long time ago. I did my best to put it behind me but the more time I spend around her, the more I want her back. I’d betray my brotherhood if I touched her but she’s worth the risk. Seems like she’s found herself in trouble again because I’m done playing pretend. She’s mine.

Alright, not gonna lie but I hated Allie. She was such an ungrateful annoying brat. If it wasn’t for Caleb being in this book as well I would have dnf 30% in. I pushed through because I really like the writing style of AF Montoya. Zayne(Reaper) and Allie have to be the worst characters in this series. Hot/cold, possessive/brat…where does it end?

Not really sure how to rate this book.

Writing-4.75⭐️ (minor spelling errors)
Storyline-2⭐️ (didn’t really have one except for Allie constantly being a brat)

2.75 stars. Allie was exhausting and ridiculously combative. Knox was, for the most part, pretty sweet. Although his reason for breaking things off were understandable, him not telling her why was not. It just didn’t make sense. Reaper still fought him when he found out, even though Knox was now an officer, so what was the rational for Knox/Caleb waiting all these years to explain, apologize and claim Allie? It was the typical ‘I’m doing it to protect you’ excuse while he went about his life, knowing how badly he hurt her, becoming a member of her brother’s MC and enjoying everything that came with that life, sweetbutts included. Then suddenly he gets the balls to claim her? Not buying it.

A whole lot of meh.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Montoya’s writing and the book was well written. I just could not stand the FMC Allie. She irritated the crap out of me in the first two books and she didn’t get any better with this one. I don’t particularly like second chance stories either unless it’s a specific criteria and this was not it. Knox came across as a coward and a pushover. Breaking up with her after a 2 year relationship stone cold turkey with no explanation just so he could join the MC was a messed up thing to do. Allie is really the main reason I didn’t like this one though. She’s whiny, immature, impulsive and never shows any remorse for doing stupid things that cause problems for other people. Ugh. I just could not like her to save my life.

I was really looking forward to Allie and knox's story, and this didn't disappoint.

Fmc is fed up of her overprotective brother. Finally, taking a stand, when mmc, who has a history with fmc, finally pulls his finger out and takes what he wants.

There's a lot of push and pull, the banter, and the spice!

The fmc is definitely a badass, and I love a character like that!

Quote that made me laugh:
“You know, we’ve been together countless times and I don’t think I’ve ever just stopped to look at you. You’ve got a handsome d!ck.”

Quote I loved:
“You’re mine, Caleb. Come hell or high water, you’ll always be mine.”

Oh, I can't forget chapter 33 🥵 damn!

On to book 4!

had to dnf at about 20%

Just way too misogynistic. The first two were okay and I kept reading because it’s hard to find a good series but this started to give me a stomach ache. The fmc was quite literally stupid. She never even wondered how they found her. She was treated so horribly, not allowed to live her life that I kept cheering for her to get away! If she thought for a minute using one brain cell she could have done it. Unfortunately she’s written like a two year old. That the mc clearly chose his ‘brotherhood’ over her was pathetic. Just because they kill some worse guys doesn’t make it so they can treat women like slaves.

This book was hard to get through, not because of the writing. Every time I thought Allie was getting a clue, she became unreasonably combative. There is something said for having a simple conversation. My God, just think of all the crap that could have been avoided. She never does realize that what everyone says about her is true, because that's all she shows them. I walk away from people like that, what happens might wake them up. That's what should have happened to her.

Amazing!!

This is the 3rd book in this phenomenal series and this is Caleb and Ellie's story. This is a well written story which has engaging and realistic characters, witty banter, humour, intrigue, suspense, twists, danger, challenges, family, friendships, loyalty, emotions, and love which all leads to a riveting and entertaining thrilling page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Loved Allie & Knox

Great story with a second chance romance. I do feel like there were somethings that could have been acknowledged for Allie’s benefit. I feel like Knox made amends, but Croy & Reaper didn’t ever really acknowledge how they treated her…I mean how many times does someone need to be called stupid or have their feelings glossed over…it was never pointed out what a hypocrite Reaper was…just felt like Allie didn’t get her full penance.

nope!

I tried. I really did. But I didn’t like Allie in the first 2 books. So I couldn’t get into this one. I read about 10% and her attitude was getting on my nerves her bratty behavior. So I skipped to about 50%. And still!!! I gave up. I really could’ve done without her book. How did Knox fall for that? She really has been the most disliked FMC I have ever read!

Devil’s Return

Fantastic read. I absolutely loved Knox (Caleb) and Allie’s story ❤️❤️❤️ so glad they sorted their drama and they get the HEA.Reaper only protected her hard because of their childhood but Allie certainly knows how to look after herself so his overprotective nature sends her running. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I didnt care for Allie

This couple stole the fire of the first two. In fact at the end, I cant remember Calebs road name. Allie us such a spoiled brat and I wanted to slap her. Very immature behavior abd the poor me syndrome got old. I also felt left down when Allie was able to put the beat down on Caleb. It was embarrassing.

My least favorite in the series so far. Allie was obnoxious in the other books and still obnoxious in this one. The constant running and fighting was annoying and got old quick. Caleb deserved better. And he never bought her a new damn camera!!!

why!

Why! I love This sexy series so far but I just couldn’t read all the whining Allie did in the last book and this book it just was toooooo repetitive for me. With that being said I still highly recommend this book and the the author is amazing.LOVE THE SERIES SO ADDICTIVE.

Knox/Caleb & Allie

This is the third book in the Devil’s Disciples MC series. I almost didn’t read it because of Allie’s character, she is annoying. I’m glad I read it but I still dislike her character.

It was an interesting story but I didn't like Allie much. So aggressive, snotty, screechy, chip on her shoulder, quick to take offense and get nasty and/or violent .... Not at all a likeable main character.

Cuuuute

I love Allie, have since book one, so getting to have a front row seat to BRATFEST 2024 was fantastic. She makes Knox work for it, and I loved getting even more of a peek into Allie, Zayne, and their friends' past was intense. Great read with an absolutely perfect ending.

Amazing story

This book was a great read. It has some adventure, laughter and also some romance. It is a second chance, secret romance. I can't wait until the next book comes out.

Good read

This is a second chance book but it takes a round about route to get there. This is Allie and Knox story and what a good one it is.
