Drew me in within the first couple chapters. I was very curious to see what was going to happen and develop between the main characters.

“I hate to think she could be on to something in suggesting I become some temptress who lures a man into vulnerability, only to burn his trust with the movement of my pen against paper.”
Loved this line!

I loved Alex so much… until I didn’t 😆

I wish there was more development between the two main characters. I enjoyed their interactions but it was difficult for me to believe that they fell in love so fast and her calling him her soulmate. I kinda felt like the feelings were rushed with what little interactions they had & how quick she “fell”.
Although there was a twist at the end, which did surprise me, it still was a little anticlimactic for me in the end. I enjoyed her finding her confidence & I really liked Alex’s character.

I absolutely LOVED this book!

Alexander Marc is so secretive, so guarded and it helps enhance the character of Jess who is so driven in her career. They make the perfect pair and couldn’t get enough!

BUT THAT PLOT TWIST THO!!!! I did not even think to see that coming!

When should I expect book two? Because I NEED!!!!!

Red Souls is a great start to the trilogy. Mysterious billionaire meets journalist, and the story takes off from there. I loved the development of the storyline. There were turns I was expecting and twists that completely shocked me. I typically don't like books that leave you on a MAJOR cliffhanger, but man I'm ready for book 2.
