I loved all the history behind science fiction. It was interesting. Some of the stories are really good and others are slow. Overall, it was cool to see what authors thought of science fiction in their time.

A fun and well-chosen collection of stories from authors I'm very familiar with and some who I am not. Broken up into decades, each 'chapter' begins with a historic overview as well as a look at science fiction in print and visual media. Each story is preceded by an introduction of the author and is followed by a set of academic questions and writing assignments to consider. Supposedly a text book of sorts, it's easily readable and enjoyable on it's own merit outside of any classroom.
