I really enjoyed the inspirational quotes. A couple of examples:
"It's okay to have a job that makes money as long as it doesn't drain you." - A truism that I can latch onto. The balance, for me, is to make sure there is more to the job than just money, there has to be an element of providing value to others.
"Pay attention to what you pay attention to." - Sounds like something I heard in a meditation class. Perhaps that's all that matters, paying attention to what you are doing?
This reading sparked a little fire under my behind which I need from time to time. Its always good to be reminded of what is important to us and to set goals and methods on achieving those goals. If you don't know what your passion is in life, this book can help you ask the questions and find the answers you need to learn more about yourself and your needs.
Practical tips and helpful inspiration. I really enjoyed this CD and am re-listening to it -- on my 3rd hearing now -- in order to collect Cheryl's tips and put them into practice. I would suggest starting with this CD before diving into her book "Take Time For Your Life" since it sort of introduces the concepts she details in that book.
Review: Review of audio purchased 10 years ago at full price through Apple before I learned to save my very hard earned money by buying audio through Audible. This is an audio recording of a seminar given by Cheryl, so it’s in her own voice and words. I first listened to this over 10 years ago and enjoyed it. I listened again today and I’m really impressed that every bit of this is still valid. From the build up of anxiety and stress with technology to her process and steps for identifying your passion and taking steps - it is still functional and viable. It all resonates. This is a ‘must read’ for anyone still searching for fulfillment or trying to support someone else who is searching. It’s even worth listening to daily until you’re firmly on your path. I’d rate at 4.5 ⭐️ Since fractions aren’t an option, I’m giving more because this is valuable. 3h 56m
I loved her discussions with real people, trouble shooting with real people. It gave a depth to this that made it much more approachable and relatable for average people.
