This work provides a biblical history of the world and a defense of the Faith against varying brands of spiritualism and scepticism expressed through world religions as well as corrupted christianity.
His defense however does not rule out the supernatural in the Scriptures as he spent a lot of time in Genesis 6, connecting the corruption of the human race at the time to the infiltration of fallen angels. Whether that is true or not, it is clear in Scriptures that the increased activity of sin in a place can be connected to the kingdom of darkness.
It is important for Christians to focus on what the Bible actually teaches rather than the doctrines that show selectiveness in the reading of God's Word. Only the whole counsel of God can build up, not fragments showing personal preferences.

This book is a classic. It contains materials that are hard to find in other texts. It is a bit tough to read because of the language. It is written two centuries ago (1870s/1880s) so you understand the English is not modern, however commentators say that this book might possibly be more relevant in the 21 century than any other time.

Someone recommended this book to me, and I found it to be an intriguing read. Originally published in 1884, it is somewhat dense—you won’t breeze through it—but also highly interesting. The author starts at the Beginning. And I do mean THE BEGINNING, as in prior to when God said, “Let there be light.”
Pember takes the reader through the creation of Earth, the Fall, life outside the gates of Eden, the sin of Cain and the rise of Watchers or b’nai ha Elohim (“sons of God”) who mingled with humans, resulting in the birth of the Nephilim, half celestial, half human beings. All from a Biblical perspective.
He offers the belief that Nephilim (as well as Principalities of the Air) were the ancient gods of Babylonia, Egypt and Persia, as well as the gods of Rome and Greece. But there’s much more, including a close look at life leading up to the Great Flood. Later, he addresses how the sorcerers of Ancient Egypt were able to duplicate several of the plagues Moses—through God—inflicted on Pharaoh and the Egyptians.

Despite being published over a century ago, the text has been updated through multiple editions, and still resonates with the state of our world today in many ways.

This book is awesome!!! The author explains in detail how the pre-diluvian societies used to live and, more importantly, the moral degradation in which they were immersed. He also elaborates in relation as why the Lord decided to wipe out all forms of life from the surface of the earth through the deluge.
Curiously, he explains that in the same way these archaic societies were destroyed as a result of their moral and genetical degradation through a cataclysm, pretty much, in the same manner, the Lord will just the current world in which we live.
In my opinion, the best part of the book is that it provides us with a detailed description of all the corruption we should be able to see happening around us that will allow us to identify the same phenomena happening once more. I highly recommend this book.

Pember is a nineteenth century author that tackles the question which is currently known as the 'gap theory' that suggests something cataclismic took place recorded in Genesis between verses one and two of the first chapter. His insights are scholarly and in depth. Of course, to Christians, this work is considered to be in the secondary tenants of the faith. In other words, what ever your view is on this subject, it should not change your relationship you have in Christ, the Creator, and of the Holy Spirit. He explains fossil records in a time frame that is tenable to many but goes in much deeper than that. If you are not a 'short earther' theorist, this book may be of benefit to you.

Great foundation book for understanding the history of spiritualism and theosophy. I highly recommend it. It is not a quick read as it is filled with so much detailed information; however, the reward for trudging through the author's work is so well worth the effort. Even though the work was written in the late nineteenth century, the issues the church was struggling with at that time appear the be the same issues the apostolic father's dealt with during the early church period and are the same issues we must face today. This is a must read for serious history/prophecy students.

This book's first half is a groundbreaking (for its time) and distinct take on its titular subject. The book's latter half, bar a segment or two, is an outdated, unhelpful, alarmist catalog of spiritual trends during the 1800's, neither relevant to modern thought nor detailed enough to be a useful overview of theosophy. Disregarding it, this is a theological must-read for giving a thoughtful perspective unjustly spurned by both theological camps in the origins debate. Even if you don't agree with Pember's views at all, his ideas are thought-provoking enough to merit ponderance.

Fascinating book. Harsh on Catholicism, as Chesterton is on Protestantism, such was that time (late 1800s). Pity, they do have a so much that is good.
Great resource, very thorough treatment on spiritualism, religions, cults, orthodox Christianity and the sweep of history.
Good work on prehistoric, biblical theory. Good advocate of The Gap Theory.
Worth a second read to capture quotes and notate for reference.

Although often difficult to get through due to the verbose style of writing, I think Pember has seen some great things concerning the origin of religion and occult. Quite fascinating.

I can confirm that although having read much of this book (which i found to be a fascinating read, even if you are not a follower of the Faith, which I once was), that this post has little at all to do with the content found within this book, but does pertain to what i, myself, firmly believe to be extremely relevant information regarding Scriptural Truths in the Holy Bible narrative (King James Version ie KJV), of which I will attempt to divulge&explain to the best of my abilities here.
Firstly, I would like to state that this particular post has been in the offing since at least the beginning of the new year, but for one inexplicable reason or another has been incredibly difficult for myself to get anything written down. Even now i am finding myself struggling to concentrate and find the impetuous that would usually flow quite readily to me. So, that said, i am not sure how this post will eventually read when finished given the afore-mentioned.
I have been seeking for the answer to the No: sequence 369 for the last few years or so now and believe that the Lord Jesus ie His Holy Spirit has at last given myself some valuable insight into this incredibly important subject matter (at least this is what my gut instinct informs me to be True, i will of course let you make your own minds up here).
Along with the No: sequence 369, we also have Vibration, Sound (frequency) and Energy that tie-in with this No: sequence.
Furthermore, i was drawn to the Bible verse Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things"
The 3 main words here are Form, Make and Create, which in Hebrew are Yatzar, Bara and Asar.
"To understand the universe, think of energy, frequency and vibration" Nikola Tesla quote which, to his credit, was further corroborated by Albert Einstein.
"To unlock the secrets of the universe, you need to unravel the majesty (mystery) of 369" yet another enigmatic quote from Nikola Tesla, who i personally believe was the 'real' boffin-head of his day, any day.
Tesla was targeted for ruination by the elites of their time (circa 1900 and his old 'friends' Edison, Morgan, Rockafella etc) and the True reason why he and his ideas were scuppered at a very early stage ie before they could bear fruition, was because Tesla wanted to be the person who was known for providing the world with unlimited free energy, yes, you heard me correctly, free energy.
The irony has not been lost on myself that at this very moment in time (UK) we have been subject to very alarming headlines claiming that our nations energy bills are going to literally sky-rocket.
It is worth noting that I have investigated (albeit briefly) to see where London supposedly receives it supply of energy from, and I have as yet to find any convincing sources of power supply ie power stations to keep such a beast operating in the fashion that it does.......my gut instinct tells me Tesla tech is being used, very likely not just here but also in many other regions of the world.
OK, i will now attempt to try to explain in laymans terms just how the above afore-mentioned info is so relevant to us and our world collective today.
Being a layman myself, i hope you can appreciate that this is not going to be easy for myself by any stretch of the imagination, but hope&pray that with the Holy Spirit' help that this will not be as daunting as it initially first appears and that you/someone will be at least able to glean something useful from this post by way of bringing you closer to the Truth that is Almighty God and His Holy Bible narrative.
If one were to take a closer look at the rather 'unique' No: sequence of 369, they will be in no doubt that there is something very, very special and fascinating about this number sequence, most especially the No:9.
Even the numbers omitted ie 124578 have their own special significance, but nothing quite like that of 369 and, as highlighted, that of the No:9.......(go and take a look to confirm yourself here as there are many websites offering up info. TIP: try and steer away from those channels that have the No: sequences 9hrs, 9 mins, 9seconds and combo's of 963, 936, 693, 666 etc and stick to those of 369 'only' as the rest did not resonate with myself ie they appeared disingenuine/deceptive to me).
Furthermore, the universal musical frequency of 432 hertz was more commonly used before WW11 as i understand it, and it was our friends the Nazi's who allegedly turned the common universal frequency of 432 Htz to 440 Htz, which by all accounts is not nearly as harmonious as that of only 8 Htz less and is apt to make one more aggressive ie volatile potentially.
There are many, many websites offering up info here and again, my gut instinct tells me this is rather important subject matter but will leave to others to delve futther if they have a mind to (time).
NOTE: I just noticed something unusual re the the numbers 124578.
1+2=3 and 4+5=9 and 1+5=6 giving us 396, a 369 combo - furthermore, if you were to take 1+2=3 and 4+5=9 and 7+8=15 (which is really 69) then you have a stylised three sixes 696, the mark of the beast, who is Satan the devil.
I explained the relevance of the number 15 and why it 'esoterically' translates to 69 in earlier posts, but will not be explaining it here as it would take too long (and I can't be asked, sorry).
Research what actually makes up an atom ie a neulceus, protons and electron, and you will discover that we are in fact only 1 particle to 15 billionths of 'actual' matter.
This info has been around since at least the 1960' leading many bona fide scientists to believe that we are in fact part of a 'simulation'.
Charles 'Chuck' Missler, my 2nd favourite Minister/Servant of the LORD, who had a very keen scientific mind as his early career involved aviation, rocketry and gadgetry, was shown many Bible secrets/mysteries by the LORD, including that of hidden Bible codes.
I would encourage you to take a closer look at these video sermons of Chuck' entitled "Hidden Bible Treasures and Codes" and that of the 24 part exposition on the Book of Genesis, as they are very, very informative and revealing inasmuch as Chuck provides us with very intriguing Truth' as to the validity of the Holy Bible narrative.
All of this 24 part series is well worth watching at least once, but i especially found the last few sessions concerning Jospeh and his journey ie testimony very, very intriguing, and it is my own personal theory that the 7yrs of famine that Joseph declared would take place (through God) and which saw virtually 'all' of Egypt's wealth ceded into the hands of just one man, that of Pharoah, who was Joseph's boss and of whom Joseph himself was only 2nd in line to by way of authority. Egypt was considered to be the 'world' of its day/time-line.
So, we are currently experiencing a similar situation unfolding today, whereby the whole world is being held witness to the systematic destruction (and soon failure) of our world's economies due to a staged 'pandemic' ie live-exercise/planned hoaxe, which ultimately has been allowed to happen by Almighty God so as to serve His purpose ie plan, which is Bible Prophecy.
Holy Bible prophecy 'has' to be fulfilled come what may as the Word of God 'stands' and it is something you can absolutely count on happening, just as Jesus Christ Himself fulfilled the 300+ prophecies of the Scripture in His time-line some 2000 yrs past, we have around 3000+ prophecies for our time-line ie 'end time' Scripture, 10 times more than when the Lord Jesus Himself was here with us on this earth.
Have a think about this 'factual' statement for a moment! There are 10 times 'more' prophecies to be fulfilled in our timeline today than when God Himself ie Jesus Christ was here with us in His Ministry on earth.......so, what does this tell us? It tells us He could have chosen Abraham or his son Isaac, or his son Jacob, who is Israel. Or Ruth or Ester or Mary or Paul. Or even Joseph or Daniel, who were/are the most beloved of God. Or any of the desciples or even King David, and the list goes on&on, but He has chosen US to be here in these "last of the last of days here on this earth".......something well worth considering I feel, whoever you might be.
Chuck Missler also recommends a book entitled "In Six Days" a book compiled of the testimonies of around 50 contemporary scientists from all different fields of science confirming their belief in a Creator God' 6 day creation (go look yourself).
I myself recommend Ivan Panin' book on Bible Codes and Ray Comfort' video sermon on how to turn an atheist into a believer in 60 minutes released in 2016, as both are very intriguing&compelling to watch&read.
Furthermore, anything by Derek Prince should be considered a blessing and most of Chuck Missler' material also.
A good test to see who is bearing 'fruit' ie bringing people into the kingdom of heaven, is by looking at the comments section, as one would expect to see individuals thanking the Lord God or Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, whereas a 'false' prophet ie servant will be taking the praise for themselves, people such as Neville Goddard, Wayne Dwyer, Alan Watts, John St Julien and their ilk, of whom 'all' quote Scripture regularly, give the 'appearance' they follow the Faith ie Word of God, but fall short of confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour ie God in the flesh who died for our sins (2 Timothy 3:5).
Moving on now to the 'adversaries' (Satan') attempts to deceive&bewitch us through disinformation, which has been going on since at least the day of Nimrod, his wife Semiramis and their son Tammuz circa 2000BC, where the main 'religion' of Satan the devil ie Freemasonry, can be traced back to.
Satan the devils main job is to make sure the likes of you&i do not find salvation through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and His message of the cross ie that He died for our 'sins' that we might have the 'free' gift of eternal life through repentance and faith.
Sounds so easy does it not? All we are required to do is confess that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, that He died for our sins on the cross and that He was buried and risen again on the 3rd day by the Holy Spirit.......that's it. Do this in all Faith and repent of your sins and sin no more (a note regarding not to go and sin any further; the Scripture 1 Corinthians 10:13 informs us that our LORD 'is' faithful and will not tempt you beyond that which you are capable of enduring, by giving and allowing you a means of escape from your 'situation'.......ultimately it is your 'choice'.
Again, it sounds so easy, and yet Scripture informs us that the vast majority of the world will reject Him and His Gospel Message of Hope, and cleave to their sinful lives ie lust&temptations and go on to actually make war with Him, that's right - make war with GOD - it beggars belief but there you are.
The Word of God 'stands' so this madness will in fact come to pass, i believe sometime before/around 2030.
The Adversary the devil likes to do things 'his way' ie similar to Almighty God but with a distinctive twist, which makes his handiwork that much easier to spot&identify (as long as you know what to look out for).
It helps immensely if you have a good understanding of the Scriptures, which not only comes from reading and hearing aloud (Romans 10:17), but mainly through the Holy Spririt, who's purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ on this earth through us (John 16:13-14), His intercessors down here on this 'material' earth, of which those of us who are His are merely sojourning (passing through).
The best way i can describe life here on this physical earth with our 'fallen' fleshly bodies ie selves, is that we are being subject to a series of many 'tests'.......hope&pray you understand this very important observation as the Scriptures are replete with verses that allude to this vital point/observation (go search and discover for yourself, it's important).
The more one becomes farmiliar with Jesus Christ and the Father' commandments and the Word, the more one can expect to grow in their Faith and more readily understand the handiworks of the Adversary the devil.
One such popular 'tactic' of the Adversary the devil is to lure you into false doctrines by claiming that you, too, can become or are 'as' gods.
This observation is True of practically every religion known to man today, and the new-wave/new-agers and their ilk with their western mystics such as Neville Goddard, Alan Watts, Wayne Dwyer John St Julien etc and so forth, are no exception here as 'all' of them promote the god 'inside' you, which is the ego/self.
What makes these 'mystics' so dangerous is they appear to be noble&good by quoting much Gospel of Jesus Christ, but 'fall short' somewhere by either not promoting the need for sacrifice, repentance, turning aside from sin, promote materialism and loving the world and the things in it, such as the likes of David Attenborrough and Greta Grunberg and Orgs such as the Green Party etc and so forth.
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the Love of the Father is not in Him" James 4:4
"In the world ye will have tribulation, but be of cheer, for I (Jesus Christ) have overcome the world" John 16:33
Common sense should tell/inform us that as created beings it is not possible for us to be gods, but such is the 'pride' of man, and it was 'pride' that undid the chief angel Lucifer, before he fell and became Satan (the Adversary) the devil.
Something else these 'mystics' like to promote is 'nothingness'.......I am not going to claim here that i have a learned idea of why it is they seem to want to promote this false doctrine of 'nothingness' and my limited understanding is that it has something to do with being 'closer' to the god inside you (demons ie defiling spirits most likely and i recommend Derek Prince and his video sermons on demons and deliverance here to shed more light on this very important subject that affects us 'all').
I will state here now for the record that 'nothing' does in fact play a vital role in Almighty God' plan, but not in the way these deceived mystics believe.
OK, I will attempt now to divulge in that which was impressed upon myself to do so by the Holy Spirit, and the first of these was found in the Book of Genesis chapters 3, 6 and 9.
It can be seen upon closer inspection of these chapters the emphasis on 'judgement,' most especially and in particular Almighty God' judgement.
In chapter 3 we see the beguiling deception of Lucifer, who is also Satan the devil and in this instance comes to Eve in the form of a beautiful&beguiling serpent, which Almighty God transformed into a snake as part of Satan' punishment).
We also witness the 'fall' of Adam and Eve through 'disobedience' of Lord God' command to not partake of the tree of life and knowledge.
We then read of Almighty God' judgement upon them 'all' through curses and prophecies, which essentially bring them all down to 'nothing' (including the world).
In chapter 6 we read of Noah' impending world flood ie deluge, which is brought about by Almighty God to wipe out all life on Earth due to its depravity&corruptness.
Again, this judgement is essentially to bring everything back to 'nothing'.
In chapter 9 we see Noah receive his (mankind's) new covenant with Lord God and we then learn of Noah' son Ham committing some heinous act against his father Noah, who curses Ham. This 'judgement' of Noah against his son Ham brings Ham down to 'nothing', as he is to be 'servant of servants' to both of his siblings Shem and Japheth (and so it goes).
Next, it was impressed upon myself to take a look at Scripture in the Book of Revelation so, the beginning (Genesis) and the end of the Word of God ie His Book of insight/Truth/instruction for us, His children,
Chapter 3 in Revelation informs the reader of the Lord Jesus' attempts to warn the Church (over the ages) of where they are 'falling short' ie sinning.
The chapter closes with the rather damning report on the 'modern day' church of Laodicea, of which Lord Jesus states that He wishes they were either hot or cold, but that because they were 'lukewarm' neither hot nor cold (acceptable), that He would 'spue' them out of His mouth, presumably because He can do nothing with them by way of Redeeming them due to their utterly bankrupt&bereft state, but there are Word's of encouragement from Him as He urges us to adhere&cleave to His Gospel Message of Hope and to 'overcome'.
The chapter closes with this rather prophetic verse;
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches"
Next, chapter 6, and we see the 'judgement' of the Four Horses of Apocolypse being unleashed upon the world through the opening of the 'seven seals.'
It is well worth noting that in chapters 4 and 5 we are given remarkable insight by the prophet John into the kingdom of heaven and those who abide in it. John describes to us in vivid detail how the cherubim, 24 elders, seven lamps of fire in the throne room and 10,000 times 10,000 angels (100,000,000 million) and much more going on (go read yourself), are all there just to give praise and worship and glory to the Lamb, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Chapter 9 starts with a 'star falling' to earth (Lucifer who has now become Satan the devil) and who is being given the key to the bottomless pit.
Needless to say that their is mention again of 'judgement' upon the earth in the form of locust-like creatures which have been given power&authority to punish the inhabitants of the earth, who will seek death but not find it (sounds Truly horiffic).
Revelation and the now infamous verse 9:11 "And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, who's name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek hath his name Apollyon"
After this we see that four angels were loosed with an army of 2 hundred million to slay a third of the world, but there are plagues also that shall befall upon the world as part of Lord God' judgement, and yet 'still' the world does not repent of its sinful ways (this Scripture is great insight into just how damning&difficult 'pride' is to the human soul ie condition).

Along with the No: sequence 369, we also have Vibration, Sound (frequency) and Energy that tie-in with this No: sequence.
Furthermore, i was drawn to the Bible verse Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things"
The 3 main words here are Form, Make and Create, which in Hebrew are Yatzar, Bara and Asar.
"To understand the universe, think of energy, frequency and vibration" Nikola Tesla quote which, to his credit, was further corroborated by Albert Einstein.
"To unlock the secrets of the universe, you need to unravel the majesty (mystery) of 369" yet another enigmatic quote from Nikola Tesla, who i personally believe was the 'real' boffin-head of his day, any day.
Tesla was targeted for ruination by the elites of their time (circa 1900 and his old 'friends' Edison, Morgan, Rockafella etc) and the True reason why he and his ideas were scuppered at a very early stage ie before they could bear fruition, was because Tesla wanted to be the person who was known for providing the world with unlimited free energy, yes, you heard me correctly, free energy.
The irony has not been lost on myself that at this very moment in time (UK) we have been subject to very alarming headlines claiming that our nations energy bills are going to literally sky-rocket.
It is worth noting that I have investigated (albeit briefly) to see where London supposedly receives it supply of energy from, and I have as yet to find any convincing sources of power supply ie power stations to keep such a beast operating in the fashion that it does.......my gut instinct tells me Tesla tech is being used, very likely not just here but also in many other regions of the world.
OK, i will now attempt to try to explain in laymans terms just how the above afore-mentioned info is so relevant to us and our world collective today.
Being a layman myself, i hope you can appreciate that this is not going to be easy for myself by any stretch of the imagination, but hope&pray that with the Holy Spirit' help that this will not be as daunting as it initially first appears and that you/someone will be at least able to glean something useful from this post by way of bringing you closer to the Truth that is Almighty God and His Holy Bible narrative.
If one were to take a closer look at the rather 'unique' No: sequence of 369, they will be in no doubt that there is something very, very special and fascinating about this number sequence, most especially the No:9.
Even the numbers omitted ie 124578 have their own special significance, but nothing quite like that of 369 and, as highlighted, that of the No:9.......(go and take a look to confirm yourself here as there are many websites offering up info. TIP: try and steer away from those channels that have the No: sequences 9hrs, 9 mins, 9seconds and combo's of 963, 936, 693, 666 etc and stick to those of 369 'only' as the rest did not resonate with myself ie they appeared disingenuine/deceptive to me).
Furthermore, the universal musical frequency of 432 hertz was more commonly used before WW11 as i understand it, and it was our friends the Nazi's who allegedly turned the common universal frequency of 432 Htz to 440 Htz, which by all accounts is not nearly as harmonious as that of only 8 Htz less and is apt to make one more aggressive ie volatile potentially.
There are many, many websites offering up info here and again, my gut instinct tells me this is rather important subject matter but will leave to others to delve futther if they have a mind to (time).
NOTE: I just noticed something unusual re the the numbers 124578.
1+2=3 and 4+5=9 and 1+5=6 giving us 396, a 369 combo - furthermore, if you were to take 1+2=3 and 4+5=9 and 7+8=15 (which is really 69) then you have a stylised three sixes 696, the mark of the beast, who is Satan the devil.
I explained the relevance of the number 15 and why it 'esoterically' translates to 69 in earlier posts, but will not be explaining it here as it would take too long (and I can't be asked, sorry).
Research what actually makes up an atom ie a neulceus, protons and electron, and you will discover that we are in fact only 1 particle to 15 billionths of 'actual' matter.
This info has been around since at least the 1960' leading many bona fide scientists to believe that we are in fact part of a 'simulation'.
Charles 'Chuck' Missler, my 2nd favourite Minister/Servant of the LORD, who had a very keen scientific mind as his early career involved aviation, rocketry and gadgetry, was shown many Bible secrets/mysteries by the LORD, including that of hidden Bible codes.
I would encourage you to take a closer look at these video sermons of Chuck' entitled "Hidden Bible Treasures and Codes" and that of the 24 part exposition on the Book of Genesis, as they are very, very informative and revealing inasmuch as Chuck provides us with very intriguing Truth' as to the validity of the Holy Bible narrative.
All of this 24 part series is well worth watching at least once, but i especially found the last few sessions concerning Jospeh and his journey ie testimony very, very intriguing, and it is my own personal theory that the 7yrs of famine that Joseph declared would take place (through God) and which saw virtually 'all' of Egypt's wealth ceded into the hands of just one man, that of Pharoah, who was Joseph's boss and of whom Joseph himself was only 2nd in line to by way of authority. Egypt was considered to be the 'world' of its day/time-line.
So, we are currently experiencing a similar situation unfolding today, whereby the whole world is being held witness to the systematic destruction (and soon failure) of our world's economies due to a staged 'pandemic' ie live-exercise/planned hoaxe, which ultimately has been allowed to happen by Almighty God so as to serve His purpose ie plan, which is Bible Prophecy.
Holy Bible prophecy 'has' to be fulfilled come what may as the Word of God 'stands' and it is something you can absolutely count on happening, just as Jesus Christ Himself fulfilled the 300+ prophecies of the Scripture in His time-line some 2000 yrs past, we have around 3000+ prophecies for our time-line ie 'end time' Scripture, 10 times more than when the Lord Jesus Himself was here with us on this earth.
Have a think about this 'factual' statement for a moment! There are 10 times 'more' prophecies to be fulfilled in our timeline today than when God Himself ie Jesus Christ was here with us in His Ministry on earth.......so, what does this tell us? It tells us He could have chosen Abraham or his son Isaac, or his son Jacob, who is Israel. Or Ruth or Ester or Mary or Paul. Or even Joseph or Daniel, who were/are the most beloved of God. Or any of the desciples or even King David, and the list goes on&on, but He has chosen US to be here in these "last of the last of days here on this earth".......something well worth considering I feel, whoever you might be.
Chuck Missler also recommends a book entitled "In Six Days" a book compiled of the testimonies of around 50 contemporary scientists from all different fields of science confirming their belief in a Creator God' 6 day creation (go look yourself).
I myself recommend Ivan Panin' book on Bible Codes and Ray Comfort' video sermon on how to turn an atheist into a believer in 60 minutes released in 2016, as both are very intriguing&compelling to watch&read.
Furthermore, anything by Derek Prince should be considered a blessing and most of Chuck Missler' material also.
A good test to see who is bearing 'fruit' ie bringing people into the kingdom of heaven, is by looking at the comments section, as one would expect to see individuals thanking the Lord God or Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, whereas a 'false' prophet ie servant will be taking the praise for themselves, people such as Neville Goddard, Wayne Dwyer, Alan Watts, John St Julien and their ilk, of whom 'all' quote Scripture regularly, give the 'appearance' they follow the Faith ie Word of God, but fall short of confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour ie God in the flesh who died for our sins (2 Timothy 3:5).
Moving on now to the 'adversaries' (Satan') attempts to deceive&bewitch us through disinformation, which has been going on since at least the day of Nimrod, his wife Semiramis and their son Tammuz circa 2000BC, where the main 'religion' of Satan the devil ie Freemasonry, can be traced back to.
Satan the devils main job is to make sure the likes of you&i do not find salvation through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and His message of the cross ie that He died for our 'sins' that we might have the 'free' gift of eternal life through repentance and faith.
Sounds so easy does it not? All we are required to do is confess that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, that He died for our sins on the cross and that He was buried and risen again on the 3rd day by the Holy Spirit.......that's it. Do this in all Faith and repent of your sins and sin no more (a note regarding not to go and sin any further; the Scripture 1 Corinthians 10:13 informs us that our LORD 'is' faithful and will not tempt you beyond that which you are capable of enduring, by giving and allowing you a means of escape from your 'situation'.......ultimately it is your 'choice'.
Again, it sounds so easy, and yet Scripture informs us that the vast majority of the world will reject Him and His Gospel Message of Hope, and cleave to their sinful lives ie lust&temptations and go on to actually make war with Him, that's right - make war with GOD - it beggars belief but there you are.
The Word of God 'stands' so this madness will in fact come to pass, i believe sometime before/around 2030.
The Adversary the devil likes to do things 'his way' ie similar to Almighty God but with a distinctive twist, which makes his handiwork that much easier to spot&identify (as long as you know what to look out for).
It helps immensely if you have a good understanding of the Scriptures, which not only comes from reading and hearing aloud (Romans 10:17), but mainly through the Holy Spririt, who's purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ on this earth through us (John 16:13-14), His intercessors down here on this 'material' earth, of which those of us who are His are merely sojourning (passing through).
The best way i can describe life here on this physical earth with our 'fallen' fleshly bodies ie selves, is that we are being subject to a series of many 'tests'.......hope&pray you understand this very important observation as the Scriptures are replete with verses that allude to this vital point/observation (go search and discover for yourself, it's important).
The more one becomes farmiliar with Jesus Christ and the Father' commandments and the Word, the more one can expect to grow in their Faith and more readily understand the handiworks of the Adversary the devil.
One such popular 'tactic' of the Adversary the devil is to lure you into false doctrines by claiming that you, too, can become or are 'as' gods.
This observation is True of practically every religion known to man today, and the new-wave/new-agers and their ilk with their western mystics such as Neville Goddard, Alan Watts, Wayne Dwyer John St Julien etc and so forth, are no exception here as 'all' of them promote the god 'inside' you, which is the ego/self.
What makes these 'mystics' so dangerous is they appear to be noble&good by quoting much Gospel of Jesus Christ, but 'fall short' somewhere by either not promoting the need for sacrifice, repentance, turning aside from sin, promote materialism and loving the world and the things in it, such as the likes of David Attenborrough and Greta Grunberg and Orgs such as the Green Party etc and so forth.
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the Love of the Father is not in Him" James 4:4
"In the world ye will have tribulation, but be of cheer, for I (Jesus Christ) have overcome the world" John 16:33
Common sense should tell/inform us that as created beings it is not possible for us to be gods, but such is the 'pride' of man, and it was 'pride' that undid the chief angel Lucifer, before he fell and became Satan (the Adversary) the devil.
Something else these 'mystics' like to promote is 'nothingness'.......I am not going to claim here that i have a learned idea of why it is they seem to want to promote this false doctrine of 'nothingness' and my limited understanding is that it has something to do with being 'closer' to the god inside you (demons ie defiling spirits most likely and i recommend Derek Prince and his video sermons on demons and deliverance here to shed more light on this very important subject that affects us 'all').
I will state here now for the record that 'nothing' does in fact play a vital role in Almighty God' plan, but not in the way these deceived mystics believe.
OK, I will attempt now to divulge in that which was impressed upon myself to do so by the Holy Spirit, and the first of these was found in the Book of Genesis chapters 3, 6 and 9.
It can be seen upon closer inspection of these chapters the emphasis on 'judgement,' most especially and in particular Almighty God' judgement.
In chapter 3 we see the beguiling deception of Lucifer, who is also Satan the devil and in this instance comes to Eve in the form of a beautiful&beguiling serpent, which Almighty God transformed into a snake as part of Satan' punishment).
We also witness the 'fall' of Adam and Eve through 'disobedience' of Lord God' command to not partake of the tree of life and knowledge.
We then read of Almighty God' judgement upon them 'all' through curses and prophecies, which essentially bring them all down to 'nothing' (including the world).
In chapter 6 we read of Noah' impending world flood ie deluge, which is brought about by Almighty God to wipe out all life on Earth due to its depravity&corruptness.
Again, this judgement is essentially to bring everything back to 'nothing'.
In chapter 9 we see Noah receive his (mankind's) new covenant with Lord God and we then learn of Noah' son Ham committing some heinous act against his father Noah, who curses Ham. This 'judgement' of Noah against his son Ham brings Ham down to 'nothing', as he is to be 'servant of servants' to both of his siblings Shem and Japheth (and so it goes).
Next, it was impressed upon myself to take a look at Scripture in the Book of Revelation so, the beginning (Genesis) and the end of the Word of God ie His Book of insight/Truth/instruction for us, His children,
Chapter 3 in Revelation informs the reader of the Lord Jesus' attempts to warn the Church (over the ages) of where they are 'falling short' ie sinning.
The chapter closes with the rather damning report on the 'modern day' church of Laodicea, of which Lord Jesus states that He wishes they were either hot or cold, but that because they were 'lukewarm' neither hot nor cold (acceptable), that He would 'spue' them out of His mouth, presumably because He can do nothing with them by way of Redeeming them due to their utterly bankrupt&bereft state, but there are Word's of encouragement from Him as He urges us to adhere&cleave to His Gospel Message of Hope and to 'overcome'.
The chapter closes with this rather prophetic verse;
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches"
Next, chapter 6, and we see the 'judgement' of the Four Horses of Apocolypse being unleashed upon the world through the opening of the 'seven seals.'
It is well worth noting that in chapters 4 and 5 we are given remarkable insight by the prophet John into the kingdom of heaven and those who abide in it. John describes to us in vivid detail how the cherubim, 24 elders, seven lamps of fire in the throne room and 10,000 times 10,000 angels (100,000,000 million) and much more going on (go read yourself), are all there just to give praise and worship and glory to the Lamb, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Chapter 9 starts with a 'star falling' to earth (Lucifer who has now become Satan the devil) and who is being given the key to the bottomless pit.
Needless to say that their is mention again of 'judgement' upon the earth in the form of locust-like creatures which have been given power&authority to punish the inhabitants of the earth, who will seek death but not find it (sounds Truly horiffic).
Revelation and the now infamous verse 9:11 "And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, who's name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek hath his name Apollyon"
After this we see that four angels were loosed with an army of 2 hundred million to slay a third of the world, but there are plagues also that shall befall upon the world as part of Lord God' judgement, and yet 'still' the world does not repent of its sinful ways (this Scripture is great insight into just how damning&difficult 'pride' is to the human soul ie condition).

Would have received 5 stars were it not for the periodic, and utterly ridiculous, unsubstantiated Catholic bashing. But the author is a sectarian Protestant, and thus can hardly help himself. Otherwise a great read, especially his chapters on the fall. He beautifully explains the fall, why God allowed it to happen (which is an question often posed) and its implications.

it's very trippy a great read... well made up but don't count this as sunday school... read the new testament if you want to get serious.. Do not take anything this man says as fact but enjoy this legendary work... and no the language is not too hard to understand. I did browse through spirituality which is chapter 11 but skipped the occult and buddhism chapters
