This book features a variety of gross-out Would You Rather? questions that will foster discussion as kids react to the prompts and make their decisions. At the beginning, the author explains how to use the book and gives several suggestions of ways that kids can turn this into a point-scoring game for various size groups.

The book is organized by categorical theme, such as "food" and "around the house," and the questions are vivid, humorous, and frequently extremely disgusting. This is definitely only for kids who enjoy gross-out humor, but the questions are very creative and don't get too repetitive. Also, even though the publisher is marketing this for ages 6-9, older kids who share this sense of humor can enjoy it as well.

I'm primarily familiar with Would You Rather? as an app or a card game. This book is a nice alternative to screens, and is a lot easier to keep up with than a set of cards. It's a great way to get family members or friends talking and engage them without technology, and the book would be great for a car trip if the parents have the right sense of humor for it as well.

I received a free copy from the publisher through Amazon Vine in exchange for an honest review.
