Sometimes expectations can either improve or dampen a person's view of a book. Frankly, I didn't expect much when I started to read this book but found so many gems in it, that I think it is a great book to read on Hearing God. I really appreciate Mr. Lord's sharing of his experiences as well as it being instructional. It is measured and takes us step by step in the ways that we hear from the Lord. I would have loved to have this book in my early years as a Christian. It would have been very helpful. I highly recommend this to anyone who is wishing to Discerns God's voice and will.

Excellent book. The author not only explains ways to hear what God is telling us individually, but instructs on how to distinquish if it really is from God or from the devil. This book changed my prayer life. Now I not only talk to God, I am taking more time to listen for His response. If you want to build your relationship with God this book is a must read.

This is an excellent book and opened my mind on hearing the voice of God. I was able to recognize God's voice before reading this book, but Peter Lord expanded my knowledge on hearing from the Father. I recommend this to new and mature Christians, and to anyone who wants to hear God.
