My son saw this at the library and a huge smile spread across his face. He says he remembers reading it when he was 2 but the book was new to me. His in-home childcare provider must have read this with him.
Anyways, to the book review:
Yolen's verses are short, fun, and rhythmic. The illustrations were extremely detailed for a board book and the flaps added another dimension of fun and understanding to the story. The flaps also incorporated early childhood concepts such as colors and numbers. A fun book for little ones that enjoy trains.
