Judo Unleashed is not only a gem, but truly worth its weight in gold. It is great for all level of judo practitioners. What makes it so wonderful are its diagrams that show where uki and tori's feet are supposed to be placed, the pictures showing how the throw should look, and the write up that provides the nuances that make the throw successful. When I started taking traditional jujitsu back in 2014, I had trouble with the judo throws. However, over the years I've continued reading through the explanations of the throws that we practice in class, as well as the ones I watch on youtube to see where I need to tweak them, and I can honestly say that the throws are not only much easier, but have gotten better. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn how to properly perform judo throws. Thank You Neil, you are truly a scientist!

Reading it to reinforce the learning of the names of throws, since vocabulary is part of the tests to improve rank.
