A rereading on the eve of Edwin Morgan’s centenary and still no-one comes close to this poet’s accessibility and jaw-dropping range of subject matter. Pop culture to classical. Personal, local, national, international, universal - his words flit effortlessly between them all - but it’s his poems of love that resonate. If you press your hand on to the page you can feel the heat beat steady. Happy Birthday Edwin.
