An anthology of short stories and poems selected from the entries to the first Annual Short Story and Poetry Competition (2010) run by The Pages Magazine, with the theme 'Yesterday'. All proceeds to go to Ty Hafan Children's Hospice, Wales, UK.
Marit Meredith, originally from Norway, is married with six daughters and an ever-increasing number of grandchildren, who keeps her happy and busy. She lives with her husband in a lovely green valley in South Wales, UK, where it is said that Shakespeare himself spent some time, and got the inspiration for A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Perhaps there is something about the place?
Published in many anthologies, as well as publishing a few herself, she has finally finished one of her many manuscripts, Diary of a Would-Be-Protagonist (who is otherwise known as WBP, and a right pain in the proverbial at times), and after advice, took the self-publishing route, using CreateSpace.
There's a great mix of stories and poems in this little chap book all with the theme 'yesterday'. Each author has taken the topic and come up with a totally different idea. My own story is in this anthology - but I don't think I'm too biased! And the proceeds go towards a great cause - Ty Hafan children's hospice.
I bought this anthology as I have a story in it myself, but I had not read any of the other contributions before buying my copies. All of the stories and poems are of a high quality and the book is an enjoyable read.
