Seven Spirits Burning

Rate this book
And out of the throne go forth lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and seven lamps of fire, burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God - Rev. 4:5

John Crowder's long-awaited Seven Spirits Burning is an extensive, Biblical plunge into the nature and operation of the sevenfold Spirit of God. This book unpackages a deep theological and Christocentric understanding of the seven Spirits. John has taught for years on the seven Spirits, but not until now has he released this detailed compilation of his study and experience. This book could possibly be the magnum opus of anything written to date on the Spirit's sevenfold nature. It is a must read for anyone interested in walking in the anointing.

This is a pneumatology book (a study of the Holy Spirit), and explores the fullness of the Godhead that dwells within each believer because of their union with Christ.

Good read

This is a older book by John that still carries a lot of the old charismatic lingo but it's a good read about holy spirit in light of grace. I enjoyed this book even though it still has some older charismatic theology but still worth the read!

Due to John Crowders wacky antics and controversial preaches I was slightly sceptical before starting this book and I assumed that his theology might be a bit shaky. I ended up finding this book well researched and seems to be solidly based on scripture. Really opened my eyes to a lot of concepts that were right in front of me but that I did not absorb before. Recommended.

The most sensible, scripturally backed exploration of the character of the Holy Spirit I've read. If you want to learn more about Him, I highly recommend this book!

Compelling

A compelling argument that'll challenge the reader to let go of self efforts and live by the faith of Christ.
