This is a booklet I picked up at a used book store long ago. Just as the title says, I learned to knit in just one day! I carefully followed the photos in the book and was able to cast on, knit, and purl within a couple of hours. (This was before the days of YouTube, so there are now probably easier ways to teach yourself how to knit.) The patterns are dated, so I only recommend the instructional photos. I've been knitting for years now, and I am grateful to this little book for opening me up to the creative, challenging, and fun world of knitting.

Very difficult to follow. Did not teach me to knit in one day... or at all!!

Straight-forward basics which make the whole thing less intimidating.

(Long time crocheter and cross-stitcher, the idea of two to many needles scared me for some reason...)
