Many of North America’s most beloved regions are artfully celebrated in these board books designed to soothe children before bedtime while instilling an early appreciation for North America's natural and cultural wonders. Each book stars a multicultural group of people visiting the featured area’s attractions as rhythmic language guides children through the passage of both a single day and the four seasons while saluting the iconic aspects of each place.

I was really excited to see Good Night America as the on the free title of the day because Emmett is getting this for 4th of July. This was a great read to learn about different animals and places in America. The book includes well-known places like the Statue of Liberty, Washington DC, and the Mississippi River. The authors also mention bears, mountain lions, bald eagles, and sea lions. This is a good book to give to a child on Independence Day, or to learn more about the country in general. I can’t wait to see how Emmett reacts to it when he gets it.
I personally am not a fan, (this was given to us by a former coworker at Little One's baby shower) as the effing alligator has eyelashes and blush, (so you know iT's A gIrL!) and some of the sections are a little cringey (bald eagles are scavengers folks) but he asked tonread it again tonight so here we are.
Cute addition to the "Good Night..." series. In our house it prompted a discussion of what you can see in our own state versus having to go somewhere else in the country to see - and how big this country is, since we would have to travel to see almost everything mentioned here.
Adorable board book, goes from east coast to west and beyond. Shows a little snapshot of each area and goes from good morning to good night. Very sweet.
I love this series for my kids, ages 2 and 4. Both of them enjoy reading them. The 4 year old is starting to learn to read, so the simple words and cadence help recognize words.
This is a family favorite as it journeys from east to west, highlighting the monuments and geographical diversity in our country. It reminds us of some of the places we have visited while winding our boy down to sleep.
