About the author

Lianne Blanch has a background in medical research and enjoys biblical history. She fell in love with the French legends about Mary, Martha, and Lazarus when she and her husband spent three glorious months in the Provence town of Arles. Lianne began studying creative writing after the birth of her two children.

I really liked this book. I really felt like I was there, experiencing Jesus' ministry through Mary's eyes. Very moving. The details about Mary's life before and after meeting Jesus are really interesting too.

A very simply told story of Mary Magdelene, who she was and how she became a disciple of Jesus. Although there is a lot of controversy that surrounds her, she was devoted to Jesus and his teachings and this is portrayed here. A refreshing look at her life that is enjoyable and interesting.

I really enjoyed the book. Tells the story of Mary, Martha and Lazarus and their encounter with Jesus. It wasn't a very long book, so it only took me a couple hours, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
