I have an MBA. Although I no longer run a business, knowledge of finance is something we should all possess. When I consider my current financial position, it is difficult for me not to conclude that an understanding a finance made a considerable difference. The context of Stuart Warner's book is business so the average person is unlikely going to be interested in every finance secret, the author shares. Nevertheless, there is enough here to provoke most people to have a look at their finance and think about what they need to do to make their money work harder for them. For me, the book was a helpful reminder that I have a natural instinct for business and there lies an entrepreneur inside of me that wants to express himself. Where I go with this is not immediately clear. When it does become clear the secrets shared in this book will serve as tramlines that enable my business enterprise or any business enterprise to understand accounting fundamentals, make a profit, manage cash, budget, evaluate business opportunities and measure business performance. Well written and informative.
