Suzanne Caldwell is looking for a new life, not a new man. With a little baby in tow, she's hardly the hottest catch for a sexy bachelor! She certainly shouldn't have to worry about any attention from grumpy widower Cade Andreas. To the disappointment of the local women, since losing his wife he's been wedded to his ranch.

But when Suzanne and her daughter have to stay with Cade, the brooding rancher finds himself unexpectedly starting to soften. Cade's expertise is in business and ranching, not babies and beautiful women! But now his lonely ranch is beginning to feel like a family home….

Good morning! It's a beautiful sunny beginning to the day here in Western, Pennsylvania. I'm working on my 75th book. 75th! I'm very excited about that.

I've written some fun things ... those are the Silhouette Romance titles. I especially liked SNOWBOUND BABY which was book 3 of the Bryant Baby Bonanza series which also included BABY BEFORE BUSINESS and PRINCE BABY. But my favorites for Silhouette where the books of the Brewster Baby Boom series THE BABY BEQUEST, BRINGING UP BABIES and OH, BABIES! Where three bachelors inherit triplets. Those were fun to write. I go back every now and again and read them myself for a laugh!

My Harlequins are a little (sometimes a lot) more serious than my Silhouettes, but I always deliver a heart warming story that reminds readers that family and love go hand in hand.

You'll especially see that in FALLING FOR THE PREGNANT HEIRESS where Trent Sigmund decides to help his best friend Seth's baby sister Sabrina McCallan hunt down her on-again/off-again boyfriend, Pierre, to tell him he's about to be a father. Trent tries not to fall. So does Sabrina. Who knew real love had been in their backyard all along.

Sexy or sweet, funny or sad, my characters make some serious lemonade out of their lemons! :)

Because that's how I see life. I have three kids...one of whom has epilepsy. Raising him taught me (and my husband and our other two kids) that sometimes a situation that seems bad can have its blessings.

Suzanne's friendly nature, strong backbone, and can-do attitude made me root for her to overcome her financial issues and find true love. She'll do whatever it takes to provide for herself and her daughter. Cade's angst and guilt about his past makes him a vulnerable hero who must make peace with certain issues before he can move on and fall in love. Suzanne and her baby are just the remedy he needs, although he doesn't know it at first.
The secondary characters in this story are so vivid that you might want to sit down and have a cup of coffee with them if they were real. As usual, Susan Meier pulls at the reader's heartstrings and makes you feel like you're right there with the characters. Highly recommend.

Really cute read. I enjoyed Cade and Suzanne. I love how Cade over came his past to love Suzanne. And how Suzanne over came her hardships to be a strong woman. A fun, quick read!

Light and airy, tender romance without the sex. It reminded me more of the earlier Mills&Boon novels with just a little bit more feminism.

This is the third book featuring the Andreas brothers. Of the three this is my favorite, while it still has some dramatic back story, compared to the other two it is more believable. I enjoyed the give and take between Cade and Suzanne. They were spunky and flirtatious but still had the presence of mind to avoid jumping into the sack with each other before conquering their own demons. Suzanne is a great character, she's strong, smart, and despite the circumstances she manages to see a silver lining and do the best that she can for her and Mitzi. She has had it tough in recent months and because of that she is not willing to settle for anything less than a mutual loving and caring relationship. Cade suffers from guilt over the death of his wife. She was ill during their marriage but because he wasn't there to say goodbye he becomes convinced that the only thing he cares about is work. But time and again he proves to others that he cares about others more than the next business deal but he is too stubborn and wracked with guilt to see it himself.

What really makes the story for me are the side characters, my favorite being Amanda Mae from the diner. Love her! She should have her own series where she plays matchmaker for all the love lorn in Texas. This was a cute fluffy read and I enjoyed reading it.

This was another good and fun read from the Andreas brothers. I liked the characters and the feel of the small town. Side characters somewhat flushed out the story to create a warm feeling in the town and give a good backdrop. Suzanne is a confidant woman, facing the world on her own. Cade is an altogether good man who suffers from grief and regret. Their interaction is pretty good and sweet. The plot was well done though I felt it was a little cookie-cutter. It was still a good romance though and made me smile. A good conclusion to the series as it brought back in the other couples and somewhat updated you on them.
