An anthology of three stories from the podcast series, "Hall of Mirrors: Tales of Horror and The Grotesque".
Hair and Skin: Millionaire, Charles Mason has a grotesque idea for a hair transplant that stops one step short of horrific. Fortunately, his personal surgeon is sick enough to take the extra steps necessary to make Charles's dream come true.
The Grave: Jack starts a series of increasingly unpleasant events when he makes a pass at suspected "wrong boy", Dave.
The Haslet Technique: Lottery winner, Jim Haslet finds himself caught up in a bizarre nightmare when he and his wife are kidnapped by people even weirder than Jim is.
"Hall of Mirrors is a refreshingly fun experience ... you'll love every strange and grotesque moment!" - Michael A. Arnzen, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of, "Proverbs for Monsters".
Mike Bennett is the five-time Parsec Award-winning author/podcaster of the Underwood and Flinch saga, Hall of Mirrors, and One Among the Sleepless. He lives in Wexford, Ireland.
Three very short stories, ranging from the surrealistic, to the weird, to the grotesque. I may be favourably inclined towards these stories as I have fond memories of listening to the brilliantly read podcast-versions years ago. They are still entertaining in written form, and well worth the time it takes to read them.
Flew through these 3 short stories from Mike Bennett. Hair and Skin I loved when originally podcast - the voices came across in the writing but that might just be my memory of Mike's narration!
