My favorite series has returned for it's third season!!! PSU is my guilty pleasure - it's like my favorite tv series that I get to binge watch, and in this case, read. And Kandi has left me reeling with needing more already!!!
The third season starts off with them all returning to PSU the following year after their summer break. Bear, Skyler, Ashlei, Jess, Cassie, Adam and Erin are all trying to adjust to their new lives as they each embark on new things this semester.
Ashlei is starting an internship that she has been looking forward to all summer. All of her drama has been put behind her and she's ready to start anew. However, what she doesn't expect is to become the CEO of the company to have eyes for her, both in and out of the boardroom.
Bear finally feels less stress now that he knows his younger brother is safe and able to be a kid and not worry about him being with their druggie of a mother. However, when his brothers get their frat suspended for a whole year, he's doing all the he can to make sure the brothers don't lose their letters forever.
Skyler - she is just the bubbly girl we all love. She's trying to figure out if Poker is what she wants to do with her life completely since nothing else really seems to interest her. She takes a ton of different classes, but nothing really entices her. But she does not let any of that get her down - she's the one character who really makes me smile non-stop.
Erin is trying to move past what happened to her at the end of last semester. She's been trying to put on a strong front, but Bear sees through it. He's the only one who knows what happened, but Erin refuses to talk about it. She's been able to handle it and move forward in her own way, even though that night still haunts her so many other ways. But her focus is on a stronger her and being the best President her sorority has ever had.
Jess and Jarrett are trying the long distance thing since he got an internship over the summer and now has a full time job in NYC. Jess struggles with the new bumps in a long distance relationship and tries not to sound like the needy girlfriend. However, Jarrett seems to be less and less communicative because of his new responsibilities and that takes a toll on Jess. And when Jarrett misses one of their scheduled face times, thinks really hit the fan for them.
Cassie and Grayson are going strong with their relationship even though he's been signed with an agent and things have been getting way busier for him. Even though it takes her awhile to finally give herself completely to him, he's patient and understanding with her. But the one thing that is a huge wedge in their relationship is her friendship with Adam. And when push comes to shove, Grayson gives her an ultimatum between the two of them, she's forced to choose the Grayson, even though her heart breaks over losing Adam and his friendship. But then Grayson gets too comfortable and secrets come out that hurt both him and Cassie.
knows that this year will be extremely busy for him as the new President of his frat. He's got a lot riding on his shoulders, and he feels he has a lot to prove of himself. And then when Bear's frat gets suspended, Adam feels a bit more pressure to keep up with the parties and make a bigger name for his frat. As he's dealing with all that, he's trying his best to keep things between him and Cassie as friends-like as possible, even though his feelings run much deeper. He's always there for her when she needs him and this season is no different. He understands that she's with Grayson, but sometimes the head and heart don't always work together.
All in all, this was a very chaotic semester for some. For others, it's the start of more to come. Kandi does a great job of blending the more serious topics along with the normal college antics that go on at college. It's great watching the sister bond between the girls and knowing they always have each others' back. Adam and Bear are each holding their own in this group of strong females and stand out themselves equally. I can't wait to see what Kandi brings us next and I really, really hope we don't have to wait long.
