This book sounded like it would be good and it starts out pretty good. I am not Catholic but it followed and quoted scripture. Towards the end it strayed from scripture and brought in more of the catholic traditions and stories. I suppose If I was Catholic I might have gotten more from it. I am use to reading devotionals etc that has scripture supporting each point. This was my mistake and I will choose protestant leaning authors from now on.

There are some good insights and moments early on but I ran out of enthusiasm about halfway through. From a Mainline Protestant perspective it was a good bit too Roman, but that's just me.
