I'd thought the threat from Seattle was finished. That we showed up in time and took care of business.
I hate being wrong. It really ruins my day.
When Roger, the alpha of the North American pack, shows up at my door with the news that a demon has made it to the Underworld with knowledge of me, some hard decisions have to be made.
Do I stay above ground, with all my magical friends, and wait for the battle to come to me? Or do I seek the demon out, and pluck the threat out by the root?
I don’t want my friends to die on my behalf. I could never live with myself. But if I venture into the Underworld, it’ll be the most perilous journey of my life.
This time, it isn’t just my life hanging in the balance, it is my eternity.

So I read this series a few years back. I will say, the story line of this book in particular was harder to fully understand the purpose, lol. But I LOVE Reagan. I also love Graphic Audio, but some of the background music they select is annoying and cringy - especially the sex scenes 😅.
Basic plot: Raegan and Darius take some desperate steps to keep Raegan safe from her demon heritage.
This was a decent end to the initial trilogy of books, but not great. The conflicts of the books get largely tied up, but too many are left wide open for the books that come after. It didn't fully feel like an ending. The pacing was ok, if a bit confusing at times. Lots of random encounters over purposeful mayhem. There were a few times when I was expecting a twist that never came, and the whole thing became fairly predictable, which made the experience less exciting. Especially for a theoretical ending. It was still a fairly fun read, though disappointing in a lot of ways.

Heather's Notes I liked the story. However, I did not care for the dramatization. There were a lot of times that I could not hear what someone was saying because of the noise. After the second or third time of rewinding and still not being able to hear I just gave it. I don't think I lost anything really important, but for me it took away from the story and made it frustrating. I have listened to other dramatized books and do not remember this being a problem. Also what was the dripping water all about. It was never explained and it also bugged me. Still, as still I liked the story overall, I will probably read more. Just maybe not the dramatized version.
5⭐ ¿creía reagan que había terminado con la amenaza sobre si misma en seatle? Pues no!
did reagan think she had ended the threat to herself in seatle? Well, no! When Roger, the alpha of the shapeshifters shows up at her house to tell her that rumor has it that there's a demon who knows what she is and is going to hell to tell to her father..., Reagan has a serious decision to make. Either train with her friends and wait for them to come for her, which they will, or dive in head first and be the one to go after this demon in hell, and kill him.
Another masterpiece from the folks at Graphic Auddio, and with Alyssa Keegan and Gabriel Michael as Reagan and Darius, both huge and spectacular. I was hooked as soon as I started, and almost from the beginning it's pure action, things don't stop happening! By the way, I always tell you about the spicy scenes, but if I stop to think about it, they are actually the least, maybe there are a couple per book, yes, they are very intense! but the rest is action and more action.
This is the last book of this first trilogy of Fire and Ice, but there are other books in Demon Days, Vampire nights. Oh, and I don't want to finish without saying that I love the rEagan's neighbourhood, his neighbours are very top notch.
Book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five stars will likely listen to (a version of) it again “Graphic audio” version 🗑️🚽💩absolutely zero stars
I love the book but this might be the WORST “graphicaudio” I’ve heard yet. I generally avoid them because the “sound effects” are generally just distracting and irritating noise. This one I think the noise was actually louder than the voice actors. I used the word ‘noise’ intentionally.
My favorite part (ironically) was a part of the book where she is complaining about water occasionally dripping on her head, driving her nuts and the whole time there’s annoying fake circus music in the background… And then this horrid, high-pitched whine that doesn’t stop for an absurdly long time. Almost 8 minutes then there was a brief break…then it slowly comes baCK AND SUDDENLY IS THERE COMPETING WITH THE AUDIO AGAIN! (Really wish I could have the font get bigger every word to show exactly how annoying it is). Had to turn the volume as low as it would go and still wanted to throw my earbuds across the room.
I cannot get enough of this series!!! Reagan is at it again and the Dark Kingdom better beware! She finally did it! She bonded to Darius and now she is the lucky recipient of some of his mad skills! Together they must get to the demon who knows the truth about her and get back out! Of course, Reagan never thinks things through so Darius must protect her from herself, the deadly demons and the chaos that she causes everywhere she goes. Darius is also adjusting to something truly unexpected and amazing in its own right! As with all KF’s stories you will laugh, a lot and lots of excitement, fights scenes and hotness!
A fast-paced urban fantasy that delves a little into high fantasy here with a trip to another realm. I always enjoy the narration and audio, plus the characters are so easy to visualize with their unique personalities, but the plot of this one felt a little contrived and oddly forced on a side quest. I would have liked a little more internal growth in addition to just repeated steps of small tests on their literal journey through another world. It felt less piecemeal right at the end (I’d have liked that be a bigger plot point than afterthought) which will help me pick up the next book.
Well, we're at the end of the trilogy, and it was good. The ending was a little satisfying, but not as great as I would have liked. I enjoyed the story and the characters, but Reagan became even more annoying, especially because she's warned not to do something and proceeds immediately to do it. Of course everything ends well, but it's frustrating when the FMC makes stupid decisions. I'm also sad that Darius, though he did all the right things, just isn't a book boyfriend to remember.
I loved this morally ambiguous FMC. She was so much fun. This series was the first books I've read or listened to by Breene, but I will def be looking for more!
Still enjoying this supernatural series with fun voice acting (despite a few cringey background music choices). I particularly enjoyed the adventure through the underworld.
Outstanding book and full cast presentation. I truly enjoy this series and have read it all. Listening to it with GraphicAudio adds even more dimension.
I love Callie and Dizzy. I love the action and the plot. K.F. Breene is such an awesome writer, her stories just pull you in and make you want to live in her world!
