Good resource for fun things to do in Oklahoma. Also loved that this had restaurants and places to stay as well. A few issues though. There were absolutely no pictures in this book, which in my opinion, makes travel books pretty hard to read. And although the 8th edition was published in 2015, many restaurants and other attractions are now permanently closed. It stinks to see a place you're interested in, look it up, and find that you can't go!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Although I had already been to a lot of places mentioned in it, I certainly wasn't aware of all the things I missed at almost every location. It also includes bits of trivia concerning the history of many listings.

Read during the height of a pandemic, local travel is more appealing than ever and I hope to visit a couple of these locations soon.

Lots of small historical background details to small sights in Oklahoma. There's not much that covers non-white history, but otherwise a nice guide to places to visit and why. I found it useful as an introduction to the state.
