Geronimo's adventurous sister Thea narrates this fabulous adventure that's packed with action, mystery, and friendship! The Thea Sisters are off to New York City for another fabumouse adventure! Nicky has been training to run the Big Apple Marathon, and her friends are there to support her. While in the city, they all visit Pamela's family and have a delicious dinner at the family's pizzeria. But the mouselings discover that someone has been threatening to burn the restaurant down, and Pam's family might have to close it for good to stay safe! Will the Thea Sisters catch the troublemaker before it's too late?
Oh my god, the nostalgia this book holds for me! I remember watching one of my friends reading it when I was in 7th grade and I was like 'what's that?' and she went 'wanna read it together' and so started my reading obsession. I was obsessed with this serious Omigod, the school librarian was so fed up with me cuz I constantly put requests for new books in the series. I saw someone read a geronimo book and now I wanna read these books again!!!!!!!!
Hola, este libro a mi me ha gustado mucho lo veo interesante y muy divertido; es fácil de leer y es inspirador a hacer lo que quieres aún teniendo vergüenza o un poco de timidez.
I liked the 8th book (Big Trouble in the Big Apple) more than the 3rd (The Ghost of the Shipwreck). My favorite character is Pamela and the 8th book is about her family so that's probably why I enjoyed it more. Also, I don't feel like you have to read them in order after the 1st one.
This book was great! It was interesting wit all the mysteries and stuff. I really like books with mysteries there fun and they get me thinking. I have always liked Thea Stilton book. They really interest me. So if your looking for a book with mysteries I would suggest you read this book.
Honestly, a chase through Manhattan on Halloween sounds so cool. This was a cute case with a good mix of pizzeria drama and Nicky training for the Big Apple Marathon. I highkey thought New Mouse City was the stand-in for New York City in this series, but that's not the case. It was fun learning more about NYC (I'd like to travel there at some point). This did lack a spark some of the previous books had (hence the three star rating), but it was a good mystery. My fingers are crossed on Rhonda Razorpaws's return (even though I doubt that will happen).
It was a fabumouse adventure. It stared The Thea sisters ,thou I would have loved Thea in the big apple. it happens when Nikki is going to run her first marathon in New York. so New York is actually called the Big Apple. when a mysterious mouse named Phoenix asks shop owners to sell their shops. The Thea Sisters decided to take over the mystery. Spoiler alert, And guess what Nikki won the Marathon,
Nicky is going to run a marathon. Pam's family owns a pizza restaurant, and they, and other shops on their block are being threatened by notes from the Phoenix. While Nicky is training, and while the other Thea Sisters are shopping and sight-seeing and taking pictures, they see a mysterious rodent looking at them in all their photos. Who is that mysterious rodent? Why is he watching them? Find out the answers to these questions in this fabumouse book!
It was a bit disconcerting reading about the adventures of these rodents at first, and I wondered if the story would have been any different if the Thea Sisters were human instead. Still, it was fun to pick up information about New York City through reading the story - pleasantly surprised at how thorough and comprehensive the information was. All in all, a fun read, with bolded/highlighted colored key words, compelling illustrations and a satisfying theme of "good trumps evil"
This book relates to today’s situation of people being greedy of lands and property and money for that they could do anything even fool there own friends and family members . Thea sister go on a mission to find who is this person buying all the property and sending fishy warnings. It’s also has another lesson about helping even in the long run you should help who are in need which will lead to a friendship which one day would be helpful. This book was well written.

Big trouble in the Big apple Written and Illustrated by Thea Stilton! I Will be talking about how I think it is for a Young-Adult book. I Feel that this book is very creative and Imaginative and it has so many Details that are just so specific! I Recommend the age group for this book is 7-10. And thats it for my review!
“We were expecting something like this,” Pj sighed, shaking his head. “I’m afraid it’s not the first message we’ve received.”
*REREAD at 2020*
This is the most realistic of the cases that the Thea Sisters had ever encountered. It’s reality when it comes to proposing business offers hidden behind their agendas.
Aw, this book felt so short! Maybe it’s because it’s an earlier book from the Thea Stilton series but it’s quite easy to guess the culprit of it. No red herrings or anything, it was quite obvious. I would’ve loved this book more if it was longer and had a more complicated storyline. The main plot was great though.
My favorite part of this book was when Nicky, Colette, Violet, Paulina, and Pamela solved a mystery because it was mysterious! It’s about five mouse friends who solved a mystery in New York. There was a spoiler. It was Marty McWhiskers.

I'm reading this series with my 8 year old daughter, and we both really like it. All of the books stress the importance of friendship and teamwork. More people need those lessons than ever before.
