Nishioka is a selfish and irresponsible yet talented young photographer living on his own in the world. Then there's Matsukawa, a man working for an advertisement agency, who infallibly makes Nishioka's work a smash hit. At first glance, these two look like they don't get along, but underneath it all there's actually a burning love for each other...
I think these two may have the best chemistry I've read in any of the BL/yaoi titles. I'm not talking sex scenes; this one's actually not an explicit, MforMature title. It's more about the way they stand a little too close, their awareness of each other, the times their hands just barely touch--or just avoid touching.
The bonus back story gives some good insight to things we either suspected or wondered about Matsukawa, based on his reactions when people refer to his family and on his seemingly easy interest in Nishioka. Morishita and Nishioka do look awfully alike, though--a bit of a shame, but then, maybe Matsukawa has a clear type!
I enjoyed this one. The interactions between Matsukawa and Nishioka were so cute. With the way Nishioka would get all bossy and angry with Matsukawa and say hurtful things then feel bad about it and mumble that he didn't really mean it. It was extremely adorable. I quite enjoyed it.
While I did enjoy Matsukawa and Nishioka, I didn't much like the little short at the end with Matsukawa and Sei. I'm not sure why and I realize it helped the readers understand some of where Matsukawa is coming from but I just didn't much like it. :-/
As usual, though, the artwork was beautiful. I sank into the story right away and loved it.
a very cute manga I managed to find at the Half-Price Book store here in KC, MO about the budding friendship & then relationship of Matsukawa (owner of an up & coming AD company) & Nishioka (an up & coming photographer who is a true artist & somewhat of a brat, but inside, has a soft heart of gold). I really loved how Nishioka tried to hide his true feelings for Matsukawa but he couldn't hide it in his photos, and it was adorable :)
I'm going to try to get Volume 2 "sometime soon" :D
I kind of had very different expectations from this book somehow, so I was really surprised by how much I liked it. It was fun, with a relatively small amount of angst and drama (apart from the story about Daisuke's past, which I loved). The two of them have great chemistry, and their relationship feels relatively even, which I like.
This was a fantastic romance between a photographer and his business partner. The characters are well written, and the romance is beautiful. I loved the discussion of someone questioning their sexuality and being stand offish about it. It felt very real to me. These two men are in love, but have trouble communicating their feelings. I highly recommend this manga if you're looking for an older BL title that rocks!
I always like Touko Kawai's works, although her artwork is not the best out there but her characters have... well, characters. I particularly like this one because it also describes the characters' professions. Kentarou is a photographer and Daisuke is an ad executive. Less emotional than Cut but the story is there. I appreciate stories ini BL manga, instead those that rely heavily on sex scenes.
menggelitik jika yaoi manga dengan title loveholic, jadinya pasti selalu broken heart:P,antara para tokoh utamanya.atau malah jadi candu ya?:P,yang selalu ketagihan cinta.
This book was good exploring the idea of hiding ones feelings and true self. It ended on a high note of all feelings being revealed and left you wanting to read the next volume.
