What if you invented a skincare cream that made people younger? Not just look younger, but feel, think, and act younger, too? What if it became wildly popular? And what if it worked just a little too well? A 20-year-veteran of marketing and advertising by day, author Dave Dumanis ( The Pink and White Bunnyrabbit Story , Alphabetical Disorder ) "gives back" in this modern-day fountain of youth story gone horribly wrong.
Dave Dumanis is the author of 51, AMERICAN BEEHIVE, ALPHABETICAL DISORDER, SHAGGY DOG STORIES AND NURSERY RHYMES, A PLAGUE OF BOILS, CREAM, THE SOFT PINK AND WHITE BUNNYRABBIT STORY, MONA LIEBOWITZ, and NINE LIVES BY PAUL VARJAK. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and daughter.
This is short and a quick read. It's a speculation on the pursuit of youth and the dangers unintended consequences. As it stands I think it's more of a short story that could expanded into a longer novel. I look forward to reading more of Mr. Dumanis' work.
