November 1942. In the midst of a harsh Polish winter, Syma stands waiting at the railway station, on the same platform she was so familiar with in her previous life, a bygone reality. Underneath a Changing Sky tells the heart wrenching story of an independent woman, who chose to live her own truth at a time when bigotry and hate were rising all around her. Even at the risk of her own life.

Way too real in documentation and reality, but so very necessary for now & the future. Racial or religious annihilation of people is the ultimate cruelty & still very difficult to comprehend. Yet these phenomena exist worldwide. Syma was ahead of her time in some ways but very naive in others. Outstanding read though.
