I read the four individual comics. The story was ok. Nothing to write home about. Captain Britain and others made guest appearances, but really none of the guests retained any of their abilities in order to showcase Plasmer. It was interesting enough that if there was another short volume, I’d have read it. If you see it, read it, if not, don’t go searching. I do think that the origin of Plasmer is good and the continued story could be entertaining.
The Marvel UK series has yet to be collected (and likely won't be at this point, so I am reviewing this translated collection. Glenn Dakin's humorous cartoons have been a mainstay of the UK independent scene for many years, and he brings his irreverent touch to this series as well. It's certainly mainly coherent to established Marvel fans (there are a lot of crossovers and cameos and references to existing continuity), but the absurdity of the characters and presentation consistently amuses.
