Another thrilling saga in the Supreme Constellations romantic sci-fi adventure series.

Environmental activist Dwyn Izontro and law enforcement officer Emeron D'Artansis instinctively dislike everything about each other, even though the attraction between them is unmistakable. While Dwyn surveys an endangered region of a remote planet with Emeron as her security escort, Ambassador M'Ekar has bribed his guards to facilitate his escape from the planet where he is incarcerated. As part of his escape plan, he kidnaps one of the individuals he holds responsible for his humiliation, Dahlia Jacelon. When a spacecraft carrying unexpected cargo crashes to the surface in the region where Dwyn and Emeron are working, the two women are unexpectedly hurled into a search and rescue mission where the fate of millions rests on their ability to work together. The stakes go up when Rae Jacelon and Kellen O’Dal, the Protectors of the Realm, join in the hunt.

Some Indiana Jones adventure here and also as entertaining but even less suspense as its immediate predecessor.
However, I do like the way relationships are cultivated even with secondary characters.

Well.. this book was an easy reading, but felt like a big déjà-vu. I follow this serie because the SC/ Onotharian battle is a nice plot. But that's pretty much it.

Does the author only have one narrative arch ? She just re-use her previous "character mold" on a different planet. Book 1 = book 2 = book 3

The threat on the Disi-Disi forest is quickly solved in the course of 2 pages. I found it very frustrating that not even a full chapter covered the topic.

On the romance side, all her couples go :
- 1 petite but fierce lady, usually older
- 1 strong and untamed warrior
- Both don't like each other before realizing within a couple of days that they're in love
- daddy/mommy issues

No exception.

This scheme goes for Rae/Kellen, Leanne/Owenna, (Roshan/Andreia in book 2), Dwyn/Emeron, and probably Ayahliss/Amereena.
So predictable, so boring..

I love sci-fi, or lesbian romance books but this series is simply a cliché of both.

Another ripping good sci-fi yarn in the Supreme Constellations series.
It's full of adventure, excitement, and romance. Plus new planets and cultures, killer bots and space-ships.
A very enjoyable read.

This was a great sequel. It had tremendous amounts of suspense and action in it. There were also some unexpected things that felt a little fresh for a story that is supposed to be sci-fi, which it was good. There was some great romance, even though there wasn't that many 'love' scenes. Like the previous books, some characters return in this sequel, which is always good to see them back and know what went on in their lives. It also ended in a good spot to bring another sequel into the series, I can't wait to read the next one.

Woo hoo! Haha it just keeps getting better! Usually by the third book I'm ready to just end the dang series already - But this! I don't want it to end, I love it and the characters, and the stories behind each person. It's fun watching Kellen and Rea interweave with all these missions and people to eventually come together for one major and final battle! Very excited for the last book and yet sad at the same time to be so close to ending this series.

I love this series!

I love how this author keeps certain beloved characters while still introducing new favorites. I also love the world building she does and the action in every book. I just flat out love this series!
