"Wirework" seeks to remedy the neglecting of wire artwork by illustrating the stunning wire pieces of contemporary artists, and showing in simple step-by-step sequences how to create 25 beautiful decorative and functional projects.
This book held a lot of promise but I was ultimately let down by the many projects that were merely decorative, like the Pocket Clips. That's not really a thing, but it is in this book. Good brief history of wirework, poor photographs of materials and equipment. No mention of how to harden wire or why that's important. (Make the wire, and thus the item, strong.) The Wire Basket project was the most useful. I am inspired to use wire in other ways now, though, so that's something.
