I randomly met the author at a Halloween party in 2022 and bought the book from her right there. What a wonderful lady!
Finally got around to reading it and I absolutely loved it. This story was so unique and fun with compelling characters. I really appreciate the work that was put into including alchemical and medical facts while also incorporating them into the lore. The pacing was perfect, I always felt the story was moving towards something and it kept me hooked.

Heshe, thank you for introducing me to your book. I didn't know how much I needed a story like this, and I probably wouldn't have found out about it otherwise. - Luigi

This is an amazing book. The storyline is new and so different from a lot of what's out there today. It's the first in a series and I cannot wait for the next book. I literally couldn't put it down. I know that's a catch phrase but in this case it was true. I was surprised that this is a new author. The story combines elements of a pandemic or plague but blames it on magic and humans who have become altered by it but the regular humans still need them to survive and exist. I won't spoil it but the unicorns!!!!!! Holy cow did not see that bit coming. LOVED this book. Best read in a long time.
