To their fans the Smiths were much more than just another English rock band. The Smiths supplied the soundtrack to their lives. This book is full of stories about Smiths songs and the people to whom they meant so much. These stories are often moving, poignant, funny or sad, and will have you eagerly searching out Smiths albums.

This book came at just the right time for me ... I was young, angsty, and there was no internet. This is the kind of book that lets you know you're not alone out there.
I found this gem while Christmas shopping at a local used bookstore. These stories are so precious. I wish I could've written one for it, but I was only 10 and had no clue who these Smiths were. My favorites were the prep cook, the squatters, and the guy that got pulled over by the cop whose daughter was a Smiths fan.
