This book has some really great routines. I especially liked the one for the morning, it would loosen up my back and prepare me for the day, and the relaxation routine took out all of the tension from my muscles. People with back pain should consider trying this before any other kind of dramatic remedy.

A very good walk through that's also beginner friendly. Modded yoga that's easier if your back is currently flared up and angry.

Good resource.

When diagnosed with scoliosis in 2012 I was faced with the realization that my back pain wasn't going to just "go away" if I ignored it. I needed to strengthen my core and get serious about my health. This book has some good starter exercises but it also has some that is waaaay beyond my ability. I have a regular routine of stretches and exercises given to me by my physical therapist, but even when I just added two new stretches from this book to my regular routine my back hurt for days. I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing. I backed off and now just try one new one every few days. I ended up after going through the book- copying about 10 to keep and practice regularly. We'll see how they go. All of this is to say that for those of you with back pain- remember to consult your physical therapist or orthopedic doctor. Start small and don't overdo it like I did the first time. Even a small number of new stretches can cause some major discomfort lol! Overall a very useful book to check out!

Loved the information and the many 10 minute routines. This is on my list to come back to - borrowed it from the library, but may have to buy my own copy.
