What would make an otherwise sensible and stable woman fake a past acquaintance with a man she's never met? Love and lust at first sight, that's what! Emma doesn't believe in love, yet one look at a total stranger makes her take extraordinary measures to meet and seduce the man she'd never dreamed of finding. Due to strong language, explicit sexual situations, and maturethemes, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
From a very young age, Brandie has written stories in her head, having hundreds of hours to fill as she traveled the world with her parents. While reading took up a great deal of her time, day dreaming and creating characters with exciting tales to tell took up more. Unable to fight the inevitable, a few years ago Brandie started writing out her stories to share with others. She writes under several pen names in the romance/erotica genre.
This free short story didn’t deliver. After I was done reading it I wondered if the main character, Emma (I think) had Alzheimer’s or something. Or she was just seriously a crazy person as the title implies.
It begins with a waitress named Emma (?). Right when she thought she was done for the day, four young men come and sit down to chit chat. When Emma sees one of them she is love struck and has this impulse to go up to one of the guys, Derrick, and spark up a conversation like they were long lost best friends, which they really weren’t. She made up the name Emma out of nowhere and wasn’t even too sure where she was going with the whole ordeal, saying they knew each other way back when. They hook up in the end but after the last scene there is a blurb about Emma and Derrick living together. I don’t know. I don’t get it.
I am not too sure if I recommend this book or not. It is kind of random, but it is free, so go ahead if you like. I’m not judging you.
Is it wrong to call an erotic story cute? Because that's what it is. Cute. Adorable, even. Emma - a waitress covering for a co-worker by doing the dishes - happens upon Derrick. When their eyes meet, Emma does something out of her character. She walks up to him and creates a history right on the spot. Derrick has to play catch up. Yada yada yada, she's looking for a new job.
It's probably not the best erotic fiction I've read, but it sure as hell blows the pants off the last few short stories I've read - the disappointing ones, anyway.
HA! that was the sound I made when I got to the end. Yes, a loud happy HA! followed by a straight in my friends eye, "that was a good ending!" Then tucking it in the far corner of my mind a new way to pick up the opposite sex. After reading Fighting Faith I had to read more by Brandie Buckwine and I am still reading! I like her direct writing, no fluff or emotion to connect you to deeply with her characters and I appreciate that. I am still reeling after Fighting Faith, really liked that one! I was going to add to my review but I believe I summed up my feelings in one word.
Crazy Emma was a short story by Brandie Buckwine. It was a great read for when I had a few minutes right before bed and was looking at my Kindle not knowing what to start next.
I wouldn't say it was the best or worst writing I've seen, as I felt that in such few pages it was really hard to get a feel for the author's ability. It was enjoyable none-the-less and was quick and easy!! Give it a try!
I think this could have been good. It intrigued me but then it was over. I think how the characters met could of worked in a much longer book and gone off from there but it just ends...it would be interesting if the author did just that. I would probably read it because like I said it is interesting and even a little comical.
Short story about a chance encounter with a hot guy. Do these people always have to have sex within the few pages of a short story? Does nobody know what a condom is these days? You meet a guy and 15 minutes later you're having sex with him in the storage room of the restaurant where you work. As if.
Emma works in a diner and is doing the dishes when she sees a very attractive man at a table in the dining room. She goes to the table pretends to know him, meets his friends, and plans to meet him later for dinner. He comes back to find out if he really knows her and they have "intimate" relations in the storeroom. Literally took me 5 minutes to read. Just a 5 minute sex scene. The end.
Crazy Emma is a short quick story with an unexpected cute twist at the end that I almost always find enjoyable. It is about a crazy situation that Emma sets up where she works, that is interesting and fun based on lust at first sight. It has been free forever and put a smile on my face in the short time it took me to read it.
Oh "Crazy Emma", what a short but sweet read you are! While there's nothing original about this little plot, Brandie Buckwine writes with a fun, youthful approach to erotica that is enlivening. I look forward to reading more of her material in the future.
This story took me 4 minutes to read. In that time she meets, falls in love, has steamy sex & the happily ever after. I would have cried in frustration had I paid anything for the story. It was like reading a pre-teen romance with a sex scene.
If there was a story I would review it...Umm she pretends to know him... he returns to find out if he does know her.... they have sex... the end...seriously thats it 5min max... still a waste of time... SORRY
this was funny to me cause she acted like she knew him than told the truth than she got off at her job and got fired Hanna atleast they stayed together in the end I guess lol this could have been a full book I would have liked it more probably
This is a very short story. It is a sexcapade - Emma meets sexy man Derrek, lies that she met him before and then proceeds to have oral sex in her place of work. I guess it was a dream based on how the ending reads.
This was a very quick read. Less than 20 minutes. But still interesting. I believe that the author could developed this into a wonderful story. This was a free book in the Kindle Store.
