Checklist for Life is the ultimate handbook for living a successful, joy-filled life. This follow-up title, Checklist for Life for Men, offers insight into topics and issues that are specific to men's interests. Each interactive chapter of the handbook Topics addressed include work, integrity, and marriage. In all, the book addresses 66 topics men care about. And the handsome, sturdy package and attractive design make Checklist for Life for Men an ideal gift.
Not the type that should have even entered my checklist. This should have been named The Checklist for Boring Dreamy Christian Men.
The book is structured as a series of various topics such as business, contentment, nature, anger, humility, honesty, goals, marriage etc. About 5% of the content is general cliched advice, but we should follow it because that's what God intended. Each topic also has three sections: 1) "I Will..." which are some general points as yes/no questions, 2) "Things To Do..." which lists the relevant psalms/sections of the Bible, and 3) "Things to Remember..." which are topic-relevant quotes from Scripture.
It's the content that got to me. What should u do when someone wrongly screams at you in a meeting? Remain quiet and listen for His guidance. Should you spend on a library membership? The Bible is the only book you need in life. Marriage? It's a triangle of you, spouse and Him. There are institutions if you follow all this.
