Sex As a Weapon

Rate this book
“A compelling and sinister tale of sex and suspense…”

“An intense, eye-opening story with an intricately woven plot guaranteed to have you trapped from the opening scene. Readers beware! This intimate, yet street portrayal of a brother scorned will have you glued to the pages.”

“Hen-Rock” Jacobs is a wealthy, legit, self-made man. But the handsome and dapper manager of platinum Hip Hop duo, Beef & Broc had a dark past. As a child, he was mistreated, unloved, and neglected by a dope fiend mother who sacrificed him for heroin.
A goodhearted hustler rescued him from a life in hell, but the sexual abuse left Hen-Rock with an entrenched hatred for the Black woman.

Despite the odds against him, Hen-Rock later found success. Money, fame, and the finest cars allowed him his pick of “flawless” women. But from the lavish lifestyle he adopted, he soon learns the harsh lesson that the grass on the other side ain’t always greener.

A discovery of the “unthinkable” leaves Hen-Rock utterly distraught. Miserable and harboring THE GRUDGE of the century, he vengefully embarks on a mission of mayhem, using SEX AS A WEAPON to spitefully dish out payback and destroy. But in his twisted quest for street justice, will Hen-Rock have the final ruling, or will the path lead to his demise? Journey inside these pages to find out now.

This ingenious Caroline McGill novel is a story of lost faith, and redemption. You will find yourself in awe at this raw, gritty depiction of choices and consequences. This story is a classic. Five star novelist Caroline McGill has done it again!

This book was awesome! The title and the cover through me off it was not as appealing but you know what the saying is "Nener judge a book by it's cover" and I'm glad I did not pass this one up!!! This is the type of book you go running to tell others. It made me laugh and it definitely caused me to tear up here and there (I am not a emotional person)

Please You Gotta Keep Your Head Up

The Grudge: Misery Loves Company is situated in the hip-hop industry with a multi-platinum, hip hop mogul, Henry (Hen-Rock) Jacobs, whose bread is buttered by Beef & Broccoli, a mesmeric rap duo.

Hen-Rock has that Midas touch. If anyone could coin, "A DOLLAR OUTTA FIFTEEN CENTS," it's definitely him. Composed by his success, Hen-Rock lives well in a dream home with fast cars and a beautiful wife, Sai, of Vietnamese decent. With so much to be grateful for, Hen-Rock believes that it's all thanks to him. In an effort to repay a lifelong debt, Hen-Rock discovers that he's been played. Tumbling hard from the top of the charts is Hen-Rock's success slated for obliteration or is a new tune in his horizon?

Known as Beef, which expresses his violent temper, Jason Smith who converted to Islam while in prison becoming Khalid Ali, believes that no matter what he's done or where he's been, all praise is due to Allah. TyQuay Bennett a.k.a Broccoli, whose name is based on his infatuation with weed, is also a firm believer that without God there is no him. The partners in rhyme and crime light up the stage with their amazing stories. Now on a profound rise, they both remain thankful to their creators, as well as their man, Hen-Rock.

The Grudge: Misery Loves Company is a deadly twist about a man haunted by hatred from his past and annihilates the paths of others without care or concern. Novelist Caroline McGill tackles serious matters and consequences by using HIV/AIDS in her stories in an effort to raise awareness. As a real reader I truly respect Caroline's pen game and wish her continued success.

GRUDGE + REVENGE = PAYBACK,
Hen-Rock cannot fathom going back to his darker days with a crack addicted mother and her pedophile pusher. Still dealing with his past demons, Hen-Rock has a hate for all black women. With being a manager to the hot duo, Beef and Broccoli, it is hard to not deal with sexy black women constantly in their faces trying to get with them and wanting to be in the latest video. Hen-Rock has no worries at home because his Asian wife is the only female he can trust.

Beef is fresh out of jail and doing big thangs. Making music and making money is his top priority besides Allah. He makes sure that he gives back to the young brothers in the hood trying to come up but knows that his job would never be fully done.

Broccoli has a lot to be thankful for, his music career, his best friend Beef and his beautiful pregnant wife. He can only continue praying that with money does not come problems.

Sometimes you can tell a really good (or in this case hot) author by the making of their sophomore novel, you never know what to expect. Caroline's sophomore is definitely a page turner and worth your dollars and cents. Caroline's raw technique continues to make her stand out from the rest.

I really enjoyed this book... im not sure what i though I would be reading before I started it and im upset with myself that it took me so long to getting around to read this book but i really enjoyed it.

The author does such a great job of showcasing each character and allowing the readers to see how they are. This book is filled with Drama and Grudge and lies, but it teaches the reader such a valuable lesson.

Hen Rock is one of the main characters that as you get to read your just like wow and not in a good way. Most book talk about the females who are angry but Hen Rock carries so much around with him and has such a grudge especially towards a specific group of women that it is crazy.

Hen Rock goes through a lot in his lifetime amd something major happens to him that changes him in a bad way but after a while it becomes an eye opner for him to change himself. I cant say to much because I dont want to spoil anything for anyone.

Will HenRock be able to change his life or will the grudges he holds towards woman ruin his life. Need to read to find out!

The author does a great job showing the importance of knowing who you sleep with. Just because someone doesnt look sick or because they look fine doesnt mean that something may not be wrong with them.

Grabbed this book when it was a freeborn and finally decided to get into it. I really enjoyed the book and the lessonthat the author was trying to teach. My only issue is judging from the title I thought that the majority of the book would be about Hen Rock and his exploits but towards the middle the storyline shifted. I also didnt like how characters were introduced and then not mentioned again for a long time so at times I had to go back and refresh my memory. Overall it was a very enjoyable read and I reccomend it

This Book has Pedophilia, drug addiction, inprisonment, payback, grudges, love and many more that attribute to the story's twist and turns. However, what stands out the most, in this new wave of thrown together unedited books, is Ms. McGill's excellent, just excellent writing and storytelling ability. I am so impressed that I purchased all I could of her work in Kindle format, well done!
