And it was because of her daddy I’d ensure her sorrow was infinite.
He was the head of the cartel. Until he stared down the barrel of a traitorous gun and thus, La Reina de Escorpiones was born.
I knew nothing other than surviving darkness, thanks to my past. Over a decade ago, I was nothing. A damaged boy with little hope for more. Then a little girl with eyes so bright decided to pluck me from the chaos and introduce me to her father.
She was falling victim to an imitation of love, wondering which of the brothers she was destined to bed.
She looked to me to be her hero. But all she did was rip my heart from my chest, with one decision after another. She’d seek solace in my embrace, only to learn that my grip was lethal—my deceit, endless.
I am a strong cup of coffee in a world where everyone is drunk on the cheap wine of shallow love.
Caffeine, crime shows, serial killers , wine and the written word. Those are my things. Forsake all others I have too many thoughts in this mind not to write them.
I jumped into this book immediately after finishing book one. Camila is such a bad ass- I said it in my book one review. I love her strength, and her idgaf attitude and the way everything she does radiates power. Mateo...well he pissed me off on this book. I was routing for him all of book one, so I was so thrown seeing how Mateo played her. she so obviously wanted him, he was end game... I am glad that it ended the way it did in a HEA.

I'm honestly so disappointed.... I probably should have known the ending was going to be BAD when they ended on that big a cliffhanger& it was only 118 pages on book two- not NEARLY enough for a full redemption arc. Especially when up until the last like 15 pages- they were firmly in "enemy" territory. I think it has the possibility of being a good story if they just... bothered to write any semblance of a redemption arc.
also, the twist of it being the brother was stupid and not foreshadowed that well. They could have done better on that. All around- really disappointed. Especially when I loved the first so much... It honestly felt rushed... Especially the last 20 pages. Just, no.
A round of applause to the author. The way this was written it gave life to the charters. I thought Camila had actually been broken. The plot twists of those who came back from the grave were pleasant surprise that kept me hooked. It does have an HEA and will have your emotions doing waves. I'm glad to see Mateo finally understood his place.
Endless Deceit is a dark emotional rollercoaster that sucked me in until the bitter end! I never expected the twists! I’m just blown away by the author's imagination! Now I need a stiff drink and a lighter romance adventure LOL.
