This is the laugh-out-loud story of two scheming men, Bialystock, a shady producer, and Bloom, his nervous accomplice. Together they come up with the ultimate con: raise more money than needed, produce a show that is bound to flop, and pocket the change. Of course, all best laid plans are subject to be mucked up.

I adored this book! I laughed. I cried. I began to see Mel Brooks in my morning toast. Luckily I was at the end of the book, so I'll probably recover. Stellar stuff!
Wonderful recount by the producers of The Producers. The stories are more touching and funnier than the musical itself. The book is beautifully annotated. The photos make it as if you are watching the broadway show yourself if you listen to the album together. Love it 100%.
