Lillian Blackwell is a rich man's daughter but without the great privileges that comes with it. She suffers from starvation and emotional neglect at the hands of her father. Brandon Shea a veteran soldier is hired to be Lillian’s bodyguard. One night Lillian begs Brandon to help her escape he father’s clutches but initially Brandon refuses. It doesn't take long for Brandon to realise what is happening to Lillian and he can not turn a blind eye to her cicumstances. He decides to help her to escape. On the journey to freedom they fall in love.
Do they make it to safety and can their love last when they are on the run? Read it and find out!
Gilded Cage is jam packed with adventure and some of the steamiest sex scenes I have ever read. I loved the fast paced plot and enjoyed the lull in the action when the love scenes occurred and, were they ever scorching! I had a hard time putting this book down because I had to know what would happen next.
Not once through the book was I disappointed. From beginning to end each word was worth reading. This book is a modern day Rapunzel. Guilded Cage is perfect if you're looking for a read that is action packed and has a romantic happily ever after!

Oh my goodness! I luurrrvee this book, Lillian was such a brave woman and she really inspires me. Brandon Shea, if there is a man out there who is remotely like him, I need to know! Sex on a stick. The sex scenes were really steamy and it just sucked me in. This whole story did, and this book is now on my permanent favorites list.
