The realm of Carnival is a magical, enchanting, and lustful place. It is vast and vibrant with no two flavours in clash or discrimination. It is, as its name suggests, a place where everyone and everything is welcome… but it can also be dangerous.
In this opening short story from the halls of Carnival’s shopping arcade, I would advise you leave your conscience to the side ~ beside your bookmark perhaps ~ as you follow a gentleman’s lust for his pale virgin.
This is part of the series, Carnival: Tales from Within. All works of this series explore concepts some readers may find offensive and disturbing. Discretion is strongly advised.

This first short story in the Carnival tales from within series exceeded all expectations!! I was hooked from the first page.

This short story follows a very eerie meeting between two individuals.. what could have been a romantic get-together turns into something more gruesome .. and violent.

Our main character has an artistic mind .. but a sick one also. I highly recommend this series to fans of Karin Slaughter, if you’re not afraid of a little blood and gore, this one is definitely for you… but beware it’s not for the faint-hearted.

I loved the fast-paced storyline, the characters were both intriguing and the author's writing was a joy to read. He deals with the more violent scenes tastefully but the shock factor is there nonetheless.

I am excited to read more of this series, I loved the storyline and I was especially sad to finish... I need more!! Patiently waiting for part 2!
