Never in my life have I felt so understood and seen by a book. There's something to be said about choosing some books and some choosing you. Me and Cait Johnson, we chose each other. The wisdom, the playfulness, it's all so contagious. I've made only one recipe from this book, but when I did, the after taste tasted like love. I loved the way it felt in my mouth, and the imprint of it still lingering after. Highly recommend for vegetarians and/or pagans or anyone wanting to escape into the beauty of kitchen rituals and the turning of the seasons to accompany them.

Delicious and simple recipes based on seasonality. Vegan/vegetarian. I could do without the pagan spiritual aspect of the book, but the recipes are delicious.
