Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

it’s my first time to read a special edition book from the rainbow magic series, and it’s definitely a bit longer than the ordinary books they have.

it’s cute and i really love the illustrations! it could be a good Christmas book for a young girl since this book was about a Christmas concert. (i’m 17 and i just bought this because i didn’t get to collect a lot of the rainbow magic books when i was younger).

Cute Short story meant for young teens, with a hidden puzzle throughout the book! There are stars with letters scattered throughout, and once you found them all you have unscramble them to spell out a word! Clever device

A nice feel-good book filled with magic, friendship and adventure. A great book for youngsters heading into the YA genre, but don’t quite have the reading ability yet.

Honestly, I did not expect this book to hold up the way that it did, so I'm pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this book was.

Things that I personally think are worth mentioning for my own amusement:
-I'm an idiot and my entire childhood was a lie because I thought her name was Kristy and not freaking KIRSTY. I feel betrayed but also this just means that maybe I don't know how to read.
-I forgot that all of these books start off with a Jack Frost spell/rhyme, it was great.
-I love the callbacks to previous adventures! (We got the Music Fairies in this one.)
-The items are fairly logical and I like how the harmony key that protects the music specifically refers to music sheets/lyrics and not someone's ability to sing or to play an instrument. I love how they don't just get rid of someone's skill by using magic as an excuse because it would've been so easy to go this route and the author decided not to.
-Serena and Lexy look like they can be Kirsty and Rachel's respective older sisters. I also like how they've depicted the girls' backstage experience because they truly are getting treated like royalty by their heroes and I just think it's really sweet.
-The sparkles coming from Destiny's wand are stars with music notes and I think that's the cutest thing ever.
-I forgot that they basically had Kirsty's parents look like they could be Rachel's parents and vice versa. All these years later, I still don't understand it, but I think that it's hilarious.
-This book definitely has more comedic scenes than I remember these books having and I personally didn't find them as funny as a 7-year-old definitely will, but they did make me smile.

so this was really cute. I had to read it for a challenge so it was nice to share it as homework with my 8 year old daughter.

although I thought it got a little wordy at weird parts - complete detailed descriptions of what each girl was wearing - it was still cute.

And we loved the letters randomly throughout the book as added fun to enjoy the pictures and spell out a word.

but I refuse to believe that Jack Frost is a bad person :D

and, lol, if only rock stars really had faires to help them. Maybe they wouldn't get in so much trouble!

I really like this book because Rachel and Kristy and Destiny are in a theater and the goblins are trying to dance. One of the goblins has Destiny`s magic sash. How will they get the magic sash back? You should really read this book because it is awesome!

Good book. Even though it was short for me it was fun to read. I like the whole magic/fairies theme in the series.

Really boring. I picked it up from my sisters bookshelf and read it. It has exactly the same story line as all the Daisy Meadows books.
