Originally published in 2001 (with strips from 2000), this follows Book 3 directly as Jeremy Duncan continues to explore life with his friends and parents. There’s a great deal to enjoy in this (so many panels made me laugh out loud) and although a few of strips again take a surreal turn (which work, every single time), so much of this rings bells with me as the father of a teenager that it was just wonderful. There are a lot of highlights - the very question of “are we an us?”, sitting on the roof with Hector talking, big brother Chad, adventures in babysitting, Dad jokes, Mum’s stern word and gaze and life at school. Superb - both in terms of writing and artwork - this is really funny, a comic masterpiece that I loved and would highly recommend.

I've always enjoyed the Zits comic, and I am now in the process of buying all of the books of the series and reading them. This is an earlier volume (more than 25 in the series now) and the drawing of the characters is less perfected than it now is, but it is still a funny book, with great characters and will make you laugh. Any fan of the series will enjoy this look back to an earlier period of Zits!

This was the first time reading a volume of the comic strip, Zits.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and there were a few times where I laughed really loud and I had to share it with my wife.
It is also wonderfully drawn.
A teenager filled with angst and the parents that deal with him. Very funny.

I got this for my husband for a humorous look at romance for Valentine's Day, although not all of these were based on romance.

I loved the ones about the mariachi suit. The ones about them babysitting were also funny, although, nope, I wouldn't have wanted them babysitting our kids either.

I didn't know that Jeremy had an older brother, Chad, who's in college. I don't know how many years I've read this comic strip and didn't know that.

The rest of these comics pretty much followed the usual sorts of topics and punchlines for the series.

I enjoyed it and would recommend it. I don't know if I'd reread it.
