About the author

Char was tricked into writing by her friend (and, most recently, co-author), the one and only Erica "Irk" Bercegeay. The training wheels officially came off when Char first wrote on her own for NaNoWriMo '07. Since then, she has written a fair number of short stories, as well as working with Irk on The Peacock King, an online series of novels being released in serial format. Her current projects include artwork for PK, an illustrated book for her kids, and the inevitable NaNoWriMo story.

Char lives with two kids, four cats, and a housemate that strongly resembles her co-writer.
