Fighting against our relationship turns into keeping it a secret…most importantly from her father.

At first it’s fun sneaking around, but then it feels like every time we’re close to coming clean, something happens to stop us.

And then life takes another detour as the reminder that life is short plows into me.

It’s moments like these that make me think long and hard about the future. For the first time, the twelve years between us start to have some meaning as I wonder whether I’m robbing her of the future she deserves.

Just like all flyballs, all this is going to come crashing down to the ground.

I was given an eARC copy of this book from WordSmith Publicity for an honest review.

GAHHHHH Ok, so we know Cooper and Gabby aren't going to have it easy, but c'mon! I feel like I need to take my anxiety medication more and more with each book! The angst and drama is so delicious, tho, because I know everything will work out in the end. The emotion in this book, between Cooper, Gabby, their families and their friends, is so heavy. And you know I'm on board any time my favorite Jack Dalton makes an appearance. Cooper and Gabby just fit so seamlessly in each other's worlds, and it's only a matter of time before they are together for real, out in the open. But the more people who find out about their secret relationship makes it difficult.

When Cooper has a family emergency, Gabby ends up being his shoulder to lean on, and luckily, when Gabby has a crisis of her own, he is able to reciprocate. Her friend Mia is really grinding my gears, and her actions are coming scarily close to Shannon's (Kate's friend) in Ben's series. Matter of fact, Gabby's mom, Shannon and Mia could all be the next Big Bad trio in Lisa's Vegas Sports Universe, and I already don't like any of them haha!

The cliffhanger here is a pretty brutal one, even though I did see it coming. I wanna demand the next book, but *sigh* it'll get here in due time...

This one picked up right where we left off. With Cooper and Gabby having that moment in the house. They
Both decide they want to be together and are sneaking around and stealing hidden moments together. Gabby is continuing to shine at her internship much to some’s dismay. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow and how Gabby was there in Chicago for Cooper. I was not expecting that cliffhanger and will be waiting to start the next one! Again, I’m thoroughly enjoying these audiobooks. Both narrators have done a wonderful job!

Lisa Suzanne is stirring up some serious ansgst in her Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team series. Flyball is book 3 in this emotional rollercoaster, featuring Cooper Noah and the woman of his dreams- his best friend's daughter - Gabby Grant. I am reminded of how much I love this couple with each page I read. Keep in mind- this series consists of 5 books, must be read in order and aren't standalones. You don't want to miss out on all of this, do you?? No, you really don't!

This couple has much to overcome to be together, but are they ready to be seen? Is the world ready to see them? Can this love stand up to whatever heat might come their way? Their secrets are leaking out, one drop at a time and it's only a matter of time before EVERYONE knows. Tick tock, Gabby and Cooper! Better let this cat out of the bag before someone else beats you to it.

Flyball is upping the game here in book 3- the interns are squaring up for battle, new players are scouted and signed, relationships are tested, loyalties too...lots of balls are in play now. I am loving all of this juicy intrigue centered here within the Heat's organization, it's getting so exciting now. But, in the warm and wonderful world of Cooper and Gabby's private bubble, the importance of their love shines through it all and their hearts only beat for each other. These two are fire- sexy, addictive and those 'I need you and can't keep my hands off of you' moments are sooooooo beautiful. Here's a quote from Mr. Swoonworthy himself...how could you not be thrilled with the romanticism in this series? Sweet Cooper Noah brings his own kind of heat- with thoughts, actions and words like these.

'That's all I ever wanted...someone who loves me for me, someone who will fight for me, someone who will wait for me. Someone who is perfect for me.'

The last few chapters adds a few surprising twists to this yet unfinshed story. An unwanted visitor, someone you'll love to 'not love' drops in and let's say trouble came knocking and made itself right at home. But, that last paragraph before: 'To be continued'..... was- OMG, so unexpected and heartstopping for all. With 2 more books to go, I need book 4, Groundball, maybe yesterday, Lisa Suzanne!! What in the world were you thinking???

I received an advanced copy to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Flyball is the third book in the Vegas Heat: Expansion Team and cannot be read as a standalone.

Things are heating up for Gabby and Cooper! But they just can’t deny their feelings for one another.

And in this story, they show just how strong their feelings really are. Gabby is there for Cooper in his time of need, and she meets his family. I loved how kind and welcoming his family was to her.

These two finally decided to really be with each other (in secret), despite their worries about the future. But…they’re thrown more curves and can’t yet get their HEA.

This ends on a ciffhanger, and I can’t wait to find out what’s next.

Cooper and Gabby Still Heating It Up!!!

Cooper and Gabby are still trying to keep their secret after Cooper came to his senses in the beginning of this book but their secret isn’t as secret as it once was. Some people are growing suspicious but its mainly her dad that they want to keep their relationship from and with each day growing closer to the draft, the day they choose to tell Troy, things are getting more complicated by the minute.

These two sure know how to burn up the pages and has me rooting for them throughout. I feel so drawn into Cooper and Gabby’s world I can’t believe we are at book three in this five-part series. In one way I need more right away and the next I don’t want this series to end with the fantastic storyline that Ms. Suzanne has served up for us.

More secrets and some lies.

Cooper and Gabby have decided to give in to the attraction, and while more people know, it is still a secret from her father. Their love is strong, but distractions keep the truth from her father. Waiting for him to find out and how. I need more after the ending of this book!

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

After all the angst with the 2nd book this is what I was hoping for! I love cooper and gabby so much and I want them to forget everyone around them and finally be together. I loved all the sneaking around and these two are absolutely adorable! Everytime they said I love you my heart literally wants to explode I just swoon over every cute cheesy thing they say. I’m so ready for them to move on and start their lives together.

This is book 3 of the Expansion Team series and as the book are a continuation of each other, MUST be read in order!

Ok I’m picking up a theme here. This author loves her cliffhangers! But this one wasn’t cool! I need to know what’s happening!!! 🤣

I was starting to get frustrated that the MC’s always found excuse after excuse not to come clean about their relationship and can already predict that this cliffhanger will be just another reason they don’t.

Am I going to read book 4? Of course I am! I’m invested now lol

Filler words to the rescue

Overall the storyline in books 1-3 have been good but I assumed when picking up book 1 each book would be about a different character especially since each cover is different also but its all about Gabby and Cooper and their secret love affair.
Despite their age difference, they seem like the perfect match except the fact they can't tell her dad which is an ongoing bore. So many people know yet he somehow is oblivious to it...🤔 makes me wonder if he already knows but is waiting for them to be honest about it or something.
Anyway, book 3 was TOUGH to get through... I personally use the term "take a beat/ for a beat" but in this books case I felt Lisa used it as a filler to get her word count. On 1 page she used it 7 times then on the next was 5... not only did it get overused throughout the whole book making me think she used it as a word filler but in most cases it wasn't even needed or another way of saying it could have been done. For me, it was overkill and was hard to focus on the chapter as every sentence had it in it to where I began skipping over those 3 words.
I like the plot and story line, I love the baseball and football cross reference and I LOVE the love story and the age gap now I'm hoping book 4 will finally spill the tea to dear old daddy so we can move on.

⚾ Sports Romance

Star: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Narrator: Aiden Snow & Stephanie Rose

"Flyball" by Lisa Suzanne is a captivating romance that delves into the complexities of a relationship fraught with obstacles, secrets, and the inevitable passage of time. The narrative focuses on a couple whose bond is tested by external pressures and internal doubts, particularly centered around the significant age gap and the need to keep their relationship hidden. Book 3 picks up where we left off in book 2 – Fastball.

The thrill and excitement of sneaking around, keeping their love a secret from those closest to them, especially Gabby’s father. This initial clandestine aspect adds a layer of excitement and danger, drawing readers into the couple's world. Lisa Suzanne does an excellent job of building the tension and chemistry between the characters, making their stolen moments and secretive encounters feel both intimate and thrilling.

As the story progresses, the reality of their situation begins to weigh heavily on Cooper. The age difference, which seemed negligible in the heat of passion, starts to loom large as he contemplates the future. Lisa Suzanne skillfully portrays his internal conflict, capturing his fears of potentially robbing his partner of experiences and opportunities that someone closer to her age might offer. This introspection adds depth to his character, making him more relatable and his concerns more poignant.

The turning point in the narrative comes when a life-altering event forces Cooper to reevaluate his priorities and the direction of their relationship. This moment serves as a powerful reminder of life's fragility and the importance of seizing happiness where one finds it. Lisa Suzanne’s handling of this event is both sensitive and impactful, adding emotional weight to the story and prompting readers to reflect on their own lives and relationships.

The theme of time and its impact on relationships is a central thread throughout the book. Lisa Suzanne explores how the couple navigates the challenges posed by their age difference, societal expectations, and personal insecurities. The characters' development is well-paced, with each facing their own set of fears and doubts yet finding strength in their love for one another.

Supporting characters, particularly Gabby's father, play crucial roles in adding tension and conflict to the narrative. Their reactions and interactions provide a realistic backdrop to the couple’s struggles, making the stakes feel higher and the resolution more satisfying.

Lisa Suzanne’s writing style is engaging and accessible, with a good balance of dialogue, introspection, and action. The pacing keeps readers hooked, with each chapter building on the tension and emotional stakes. The portrayal of the relationship feels authentic, with its ups and downs, joys and frustrations, making it easy for readers to invest in the characters' journey.

In conclusion, "Flyball" by Lisa Suzanne is a heartfelt and thought-provoking romance that examines the challenges of love in the face of societal expectations and personal doubts. With well-drawn characters, a compelling plot, and a deep exploration of the themes of time and love, this book is a must-read for fans of contemporary romance. The journey of the couple, from secrecy to self-discovery, is both engaging and inspiring, making "Flyball" a standout novel in its genre.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the third book in the Vegas Heat Series so make sure you read the other two books first. Flyball begins where Fastball ends & readers will be satisfied with the direction the story is headed. Unlike in Fastball, the angst is mostly gone, the sneaking around has arrived, & the spice is back!

After being separated from Gabby & experiencing jealousy & other emotions, Cooper knows that he cannot continue without having her by his side as his girlfriend. Though he still has the same worries he had before about their relationship, he knows that what he feels for Gabby is stronger. When he's forced to deal with something that makes him start to doubt once again, he finds comfort in Gabby & she only reinforces what he already knew - that she is it for him. So, he doesn't care if they have to hide their relationship & meet in secret. He just wants her & does a great job of showing it with his words & actions.

Now that Cooper has the same mind as her, Gabby reassures him that they are better together & can deal with their concerns by talking about them. If in Fastball readers noted that her approach to their relationship showed the difference in their ages, then in Flyball she shows a more understanding & mature view of their relationship. She considers what she wants & what Cooper wants/what his lifestyle will require and, although she knows it won't be easy, she is ready to face it together. Aside from being a source of strength for Cooper, she has also started to get a better sense of what she wants for her life, including work wise, & is going to let others get to her too much.

Although the spice is back, it's balanced well with their relationship being put to the test by some of their earlier concerns about it. At the forefront of that is trying to decide when to tell Troy about their relationship. Depending on the reader, it could be fun or frustrating seeing something stop their attempts. I personally found it fun as they had to continue to sneak around & I was nervous on their behalf wondering who would discover their relationship. &, of course, I loved seeing them together again & both firm about staying together this time. The problems presented in this book are set up perfectly for the next book, especially that ending! Flyball is a great installment for Cooper & Gabby's story, maybe my favorite yet, & I can't wait to see what's in store for them in the next book!

FLYBALL indeed !
With each read/Listen Im hooked and sucked in by Cooper and Gabbys story.
Totally enjoying this read, a summertime kinda vibe sports Romance for the TBL/TBR for sure !

Ok let’s get into it .

Cooper and Gabby aren't going to have it easy that much is pretty clear, the story picked up from where it ended, but man alive, this series is definitely working my poor heart and last nerve. The angst and drama is so delicious, The emotion in this book, between Cooper, Gabby, their families and their friends, is definitely driving me nuts I tell you!
⚾️
Now between Gabby Moms who shows up out of the blue to stir crap up that had Gabby second guessing herself to Mia talking crap about Cooper and not seeming like the supportive friend at the moment, Im full on wondering what the heck is happening.
💙
However I’m glad for one thing and that’s
Gabby and Cooper finally forming a united front on how to deal with their Secret (well not so secret) relationship for which I’m happy to say “it’s about Damn time “
These two 2️⃣ in the last book just about worked my last nerve..but I know they are both in for a shitz ton of trouble, especially with that Mother from Hell !
The Nerve of that woman though .

Absolutely loving Gabby and Coop behavior in this book though, they are now acting like before all the crap hit the fan in the first book, that’s when they just met, but her friend Mia is really getting on my nerves, I just hope she doesn’t do anything stupid like joining with Gabby’s mom to stir Shitz up!
My radar is already picking up on the Shitz stirring already.
Listen ….this one was hot and exciting, I can’t wait to see if Coops and Gabby will finally get their Happily Ever After with her Dads blessings .. because he is one hot headed Bossy Dom .

But jeezzz….Aiden Snow and Stephanie Rose keep on doing their thing!
They totally keep on taking this book to a whole new level each time, by bringing the characters to life, with all the banter feels and emotions, absolutely loved it !

Anyways this story ends on a cliffhanger one that had me hanging on to my ipad for fear of tossing it away, yeah, brutal although it was in the back of my head that it would definitely be a cliffhanger.
Dang it !

Definitely a must read /listen series

More Vegas Heat Greatness! Fabulous Story & Listen🎧

Flyball
Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team, Book 3
By: Lisa Suzanne
Narrated by: Aiden Snow, Stephanie Rose

This third book of the “Vegas Heat” The Expansion Team” is a continuation of Gabby Grant and Noah Cooper’s story and it picks up where the second book, “Fastball” ended. The books of this series need to be enjoyed in order written, each one is as amazing as the next and keeps you coming back for more. Gabby and Noah realize it was too much of a struggle to keep away from each other because their love and the chemistry between them are too strong to deny. However, it still is difficult, and they are facing more obstacles and challenges, including keeping their relationship a secret and when to tell her father. I loved watching these two finally getting their act together and getting on the same page, despite having insecurities about being in different phases of their lives and the fear of how her father was going to take the news. This installment brings more drama, family, workplace and relationship, emotions continue to run high and there does the heat between them. Lisa Suzanne, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. And that ending, holy moly, I am looking forward to find out what happens next.

🎧📚🎧 Aiden Snow and Stephanie Rose continue to do an amazing job bringing the characters to life, humanizing them, going each their own voice and personalty. I love how they take each role and make it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagine the characters to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling each one. They are entertaining storytellers and their performance elevates this already fantastic story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.

It feels like I haven’t taken a breath since starting to read Flyball, the third book in the Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team series by Lisa Suzanne – I just couldn’t put it down! Thankfully Gabby and Cooper have now agreed that they undoubtedly love each other, cannot live without each other and no longer want to try to stay apart. But the issues arising in previous books are still there, being their age gap and the best friend/father problem. There is only one thing they can do and that’s to keep their love a secret………easier said than done!
With the way they both look at each other and their chemistry, it’s no shock that a few others now know the truth. But they still decide to keep it a secret from Troy until after the draft. Enter the evil queen that is Gabby’s mother when she rocks up to the front door of Troy’s mansion. Belittling Gabby and trying to turn her against her father, all gets a little too much and it ends up with Gabby needing a visit to the hospital. When Troy gets that call, Cooper drives him to the hospital where he has to dig deep to keep his emotions in check. But at that moment, he realises how deep is love actually is.
There are lots of twists and turns including an unexpected engagement ring, a important intern competition and some hot moments in the weight room! Every time Gabby and Cooper decide they aren’t waiting any longer to come clean to Troy, something else happens to get in the way and take priority. But the night of the draft has arrived, which means tomorrow is the day the truth is revealed and true love will be declared. Will the couple get a chance to tell Troy? Who knows what will happen after the mega cliff hanger.

Cooper and Gabby can no longer fight their attraction and are heating up the baseball stadium all while trying to keep everything a secret but as their secret keeps threatening to be revealed and they finally decided to tell Gabby's dad, something keeps stopping them.

Cooper and Gabby are on fire and there is no denying their connection. I loved how Troy keeps pushing Cooper and Gabby together but is still so blissfully unaware of what is happening. Cooper's family is awesome and I love how easily they accepted Gabby. I did not like the cliffhanger in this one and need book four NOW!!!!

Flyball is the third book in Lisa Suzanne's addictive Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team series and is Cooper and Gabby's continuing story.
Flyball picks up right where Fastball ended with Cooper trying to fight against everything he feels for Gabby but also knowing he cannot turn off his feelings for the girl who has stolen his heart.
"I keep trying to do the right thing. I keep trying to fight against this, but maybe I've been wrong all along and the right thing isn't what I think it is."
After a lot of consideration and even with all the reasons they should stay away from each other, Cooper and Gabby cannot stop loving each other just because it's what's best for the people around them. Which is why they decide to be together in secret, until they can find a way and the courage to tell Troy about what's happening between them.
At first sneaking around and hiding away from everyone is fun and exciting but the reality of keeping secrets from the people you love isn't easy, especially when all you want to do is shout from the rooftops about the one you love and start the future you've been dreaming of together.
Can Gabby and Troy find the right time to tell Troy and finally be together out in the open or will life get in the way once again?
Read Flyball now to find out!
I LOVED Flyball, I could not put it down and devoured it in one sitting! I cannot wait for the last two books in this incredible series, which is quickly becoming my favourite Lisa Suzanne series to date.

Each installment in Lisa Suzanne's Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team series is a testament to her unique writing style, and Flyball, book 3, is no exception. Suzanne's ability to blend serious angst with emotional rollercoasters is a true marvel, leaving readers breathless and eagerly anticipating the next twist.

The journey of Copper and Gabby in Flyball is a testament to the power of love and the strength of relationships. As they navigate the challenges of deepening their connection, meeting family members, and facing their secrets, readers are drawn into their world, wondering if their love can withstand the heat. The suspense builds, keeping readers hooked from start to finish.

The last few chapters of Flyball are a whirlwind of unexpected twists, including an unwanted visitor bringing trouble to their doorstep. And that last paragraph before 'To be continued'... It was so unexpected and heart-stopping! The anticipation for book 4, Groundball, is palpable, with two more books to go. Lisa Suzanne, what were you thinking leaving us hanging like this??

The audiobook version of Flyball, narrated by Stephanie Rose and Aiden Snow, is a true delight. Rose's sweet, light-hearted voice and Snow's deep rasp create a dynamic listening experience that brings Copper and Gabby's story to life in the most captivating way. This audiobook is a must-listen for any series fan—prepare for an unforgettable journey!

“These feelings, this thing between us…it’s big, and it shines.”

In Flyball, Gabby and Cooper have finally realized that they can’t ignore their feelings any longer and are determined to be together even if it’s in secret. They want nothing more than to share their relationship publicly but every time they decide to reveal the truth, another obstacle is placed in their path.

“You make me want to sacrifice everything to be with you. You make me see what’s important in life in a way I’ve never seen it before.”

Gabby and Cooper’s relationship really deepens and strengthens in this story. During a time of crisis, Gabby proves that she’ll stand by Cooper’s side and helps him when he desperately needs support. Both are still trying to figure out if their age difference and how they are in different places in their lives can make for a realistic relationship, but both are willing to fight for it.

“I could fight it as much as I want, but when the right thing comes along, fate finds a way of making it happen.”

Outside obstacles continue to be an issue for this twosome and I’m sure that a few people in their life are going to create chaos in the future. I was anticipating that cliffhanger that Flyball ended on and I know it is going to create even more trouble for Gabby and Cooper in the future. Will they ever catch a break? I can’t wait to continue the series to find out.

Flyball
Copper and Gabby just can’t stay away from each other. They decide to keep seeing each other. They have a magical night at the resort where they met for Copper’s birthday. Things are heating up fast at work with the Vegas Heat. Gabby is proving herself as a good fit with interning. There is an ongoing competition with all the interns for a permanent job. Gabby has won with a few of these experimental social media videos. There is some jealousy between the interns as one of they ‘catches’ Cooper and Gabby together.
Too many people know that Gabby and Copper are together. Some of the interns, some of the players/friends of Coppers and Cooper’s family, it is only a matter of time before someone tells Troy Bodine (Gabby’s father). Troy wants a better man, a younger man for his daughter. Love does not respect boundaries.
Meanwhile…Troy and Joanie get engaged. Cooper’s brother has a heart attack. Mia, Gabby’s best friend is not available to her. Mia is dating a fellow intern, Dylan, who knows that Gabby is seeing Cooper. Then TWO big bombshells: 1. Christine, Gabby’s mom, shows up in Vegas to visit. She is a mean and destructive woman. 2. Troy is not feeling well, profuse sweating, fatigue, a ton of stress for a 41 year old man and seems to have a cardiac incident. YIKES!!!
It is hard to believe that this is the third book in the series. We are at the halfway point of the series. This is one action packed book. You cannot put it down. I need the next book, STAT!

Flyball (Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team #3) by Lisa Suzanne is part three of a five-part contemporary sports romance serial and ends with a cliffhanger. Told in first person dual POV, this installment includes age-gap, forced proximity, workplace, and forbidden love tropes. It follows the relationship between pro baseball player Cooper Noah and marketing major and intern Gabby Grant.

The story picks up where the previous one ended. Cooper and Gabby can’t resist each other anymore, but they’re not ready to go public with their relationship right away. When they’re finally ready to tell Troy the truth about their relationship, obstacles continue to get in the way, delaying them again and again.

I enjoyed this third installment of Gabby and Cooper’s story. They’ve finally given in to their feelings and are going at it like rabbits at any opportunity they find. There’s a lot of sneaking around and quick sex in risky places while they continue to hide their relationship despite their desire to tell the truth. There are a couple of troublemakers introduced, and I can’t wait to see what kind of havoc they raise. Gabby and Cooper won't be able keep their relationship a secret much longer. The tension is ramping up, and it ends with a decent cliffhanger. I’m looking forward to reading part four.

Hold on to your panties friends because Cooper Noah just might make them melt!

Flyball, the third book in the Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team is here and all the heat between Cooper and Gabby. As the other series before this one, Flyball must be read in order with the other books in the Expansion Team. This book will end on a cliffhanger but Lisa will let us live in happiness for a moment, even if it is brief.

I am so relieved that Cooper is finally giving in to what we all know he wants and giving his relationship with Gabby another shot- just you know without Troy, Noah's boss/friend, finding out that he's in a relationship with his 21-year old daughter. All the tensions, heat and insatiableness between Cooper and Gabby come back full force in this book- meaning lots of sexy time 😉 But you know Lisa can never let us get a HEA this early on in the saga, so just when things are looking perfect she hits us out of nowhere with family emergencies, creeping insecurities, and a few lurking loose cannons that you just know are going to be nothing but trouble for these two.

But in between all the twists and drama I absolutely love these two together. Their connection runs strong and deep- each speed bump in their relationship only seems to bind them together stronger. If only they could be completely honest with everyone around them. And of course Lisa left Flyball with an ending that has me begging for Groundball to be here!

Lisa Suzanne, a creative author who keeps a reader at the edge of the cliff through multiple books, again developed a story that is edgy and unique, and a cliffhanger that wasn’t expected!

Book 3 in the Vegas Heat Series unfolds the story of Cooper and Gabby, as they carry on their romance in secret from Gabby’s father. As romances and relationships go, they are sharing their attraction more and more with family and friends, however their reservations about telling him are reinforced over and over by events and close relations. It’s a no-win for our hero and heroine, as they make multiple attempts to explain and share the affection they have.

As much as I enjoyed the previous 2 books, Flyball is more pervasive and endearing, as Cooper and Gabby make a real commitment in their relationship. As the book opens, Cooper is still grappling with his guilt over their age difference and how it can impact her life. When his brother becomes ill, this guilt becomes overwhelming and a crippling fear that his life, like his father, may end early. I thought Ms. Susanne handled this well as she explored the emotional impact of premature death on survivors.

Flyball just kept on throwing curves at us; whether it be illness, malicious characters, endearing dialogue or the willingness of self-sacrifice in the name of love.

Vegas Heat: Expansion Team #3

Picking up from where we left off, Gabby and Cooper have decided they really can't say anything to her dad at this time.

Gabby is wondering if she really is what Cooper wants. She's not ready for a family and he is. Things change when he has a family emergency and her dad sends her to be there for support. She sees things in a different light and realizes she is ready for it all, sharing that with Cooper. His family has fallen in love with her and sees how good she is for him.

"And I will fight to be with her. Whatever it takes. because I can't live without her. I tried. I failed."

Things heat up for them when more people find out about them. Still hoping her dad doesn't find out they have decided on waiting until after the draft to say anything. Should be easy enough until her mom shows up. Her mom is still the same, cutting down Gabby and of course her dad and how he walked out on them, trying to turn her against him. Gabby has had enough and just wants her gone. It's taken a toll on Gabby and she ends up in the hospital.

"Are our lives just too far apart, or do you really think we can find a way to make this work?"

The night of the draft has come and they are ready to tell her dad afterwards. Will they get their chance?

This is by far the most angsty and emotional book in the series. It picks up exactly where book 2 left off and is filled with DraMa. This is definitely giving telenovella vibes and I am here for it! If you know, you know!😉 Cooper and Gabby realize that their chemistry is undeniable, but open declarations of their relationship would be a huge complication. Needless to say there was a lot of sneaking around and fun steamy scenes. The forbidden relationship aspect made the sexy scenes even more fun and they definitely were almost caught on a number of occasions. However, they could only keep up the shenanigans for so long…

Without giving away too many plot details, I enjoyed the story lines among the secondary characters. This added an additional layer of depth to the main characters as well as the story line. Both cooper and gabby experience family crises which draw them closer to one another. Be prepared for an emotional roller coaster which competes with your favorite amusement park.🎢

I listened to the audiobook and recommend it. It was well narrated and both narrators did a good job bringing the story to life. As always the book ends on a cliff hanger, and I was NOT ready for this one! In definitely verbalized my frustration lol. Until book 4 drops, I will be impatiently awaiting in cliffhanger agony. 😭

Overall, liked this read.

Gabby and Cooper have rekindled their romance. Now they just have to find a way to tell her father. They plan and plan but somehow, something always comes up that derails their plans and makes it not the right time to come clean.

Sneaking around is fun for awhile but starts to be a drag when a family emergency comes up for Cooper. Gabby wants to be there for him, but how explain it to her dad? She ends up going anyway as “support from the team” by request of her blissfully ignorant dad who continues to unknowingly push them together.

When her mother shows up uninvited and unexpectedly, Gabby starts questioning why she’s here. She is such a negative person. Constantly belittling Gabby for not being good enough, making her question everything. Mom starts to guess what is going on with Cooper, so they make yet another plan to tell her dad right after the draft. But then tragedy strikes right before the epic cliffhanger.

I loved that we got to see so much more of Gabby and Cooper together in this one. We get to see more of the dynamic between them and how their lives would be together. I can’t stand her mother. She is such a horrible vindictive person, she needs to go back home. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

4.5 socked-in-the-gut stars!

What a whirlwind of emotions this book was. Flyball is Book 3 in the Vegas Heat series and picks up where Fastball left off, but we get back to some of the spice and romance in this one.

Cooper comes to his senses a bit in this book, which is great because he seems too wonderful for me to want to strangle. While he has his concerns, reservations and hesitations, he knows what he feels for Gabby is stronger than all of those. What I loved the most in this book is that when they each dealt with something personal, they allowed themselves to lean on each other and find their support and strength.

One of the biggest struggles in their relationship is letting others (mainly Troy) know about it, or keeping it a secret. But, the thing about secrets is they always have a way of coming to light, and it's better for Troy to hear it from them first - isn't it?

My only slight complaint is that the drama from women like Mia and Gabby's mom is getting a bit too similar to the Vegas Aces series. I don't feel like I'm reading formulated books and I really hope that doesn't change with so many similar themes.

This book has a doozy of a cliffhanger, so hold on to your seats and count down the minutes until you can get your hands on Groundball!

Flyball
Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team, Book 3
By: Lisa Suzanne
Narrated by: Aiden Snow, Stephanie Rose

This series is so much fun. A bit of taboo keeps the suspense and passion high and exciting! Cooper and Gabby are still at odds at the beginning, as Cooper finally decides he can't live without her. But everything between them has to be kept secret. As people slowly realize or ask though, the secret keeps getting bigger and bigger. It's only a matter of time before her dad finds out, and it better not be from anyone but them. Gabby's mom pops in, a marriage proposal is made and a shocking ending and has left me needing to know the outcome has been just left there for me, wondering now and waiting. I am totally hooked on these two as I have questions and suppositions and now I need answers and confirmations! Bring it on Lisa Suzanne, I am ready!

Aiden Snow and Stephanie Rose continue their narration of this fabulous series that I just cannot get enough of. It is partly due to their amazing performances, as they have made the characters come to life, and now are part of my family as I listen. Together they have brought me into this world and have enveloped me into the fold. I look forward to the next one in the series!
