Starting a prank war, going through heat, and learning to drive -- there's never a dull moment for Luna Posy Everleigh of Five Fangs!
Join Posy on a wild ride as she meets her mother's side of the family, starts school, makes new friends, plans a surprise for her five alpha mates, and prepares for her first full moon run... which ends in a way no one could ever have imagined.
I had such a lovely time with this series and I will miss those characters. Mary Ann Weir has written one of the best series I’ve read in a while with lovable characters who showed growth. Posy has come such a long way since that first meeting and I was very much involved in it all.
The guys were great and so in love with Posy. I enjoyed it all : the banter, the pranking, the deserved revenge. This series was what I needed with low drama, likable characters, a great plot line and development. I am a fan !
It’s over all ready?! I don’t want to say goodbye. This was such an amazing and original read. I’ve never read anything like! I love the characters. And the wolves and how they all interact. It was such a great read. And I want more. They all deserve a happy ever after. I shed a tear saying goodbye. Such an amazing journey and healing and love and friendship in this series.
I remember reading book 1 and 2 ages ago and was glad to find the end (book 5).. But I thought we would have learned more about the sickness that killed the shifters as a whole. A lot of wishy washy stuff is gone over in too much detail and depth yet the interesting stuff is barely touched on. How is Luna, Posy, more powerful than a Queen Luna? Essentially the Queen should pull from all the shifters...(Found myself thinking where is the consistency) The Goddess coming down to help Posy....Seems to me there is a story there.
Did this story need 5 books, no. My eyes started skipping over names in book 5, we didn't need to meet so many pack members. Posy grew as a character, kind of, but I'm not sure if all the secret keeping and pranks actually added anything. Especially if even towards the end she still had to ask what basic words meant. The whole daddy thing shut down the smut for me, I just skipped it. More so after going on about how small she was and carrying her around.
All in all if you want to read about a sweet heroine despite a horrible beginning, this is a readable series. Just make sure you have KU because I would be leaving a less positive review after 5 books.
I have never read back to back books in a series before without getting bored. With this book series, there was no boredom. I laughed, I cried, I watched 6 main characters and their wolves grow throughout the series. I didn’t want to put it down, I didn’t want to see it end. And I’m wondering how much is the appropriate time frame to wait to re-read them again! Is now too soon? I hope not. Thank you Mary Ann Weir for such wonderful characters to ever grace a shifter series.
The ending was so good for the series. I wish we had seen more definitively what happened with Thoreau, Wayne and archer, but that’s my only complaint. I really enjoyed seeing the ending for all of these characters and having some questions answered. It was a cute series even when some topics were very serious.
Before you read my review, please understand that it is a review of the SERIES and not the individual books. There are no spoilers, though. I would hate to give away too much. This is a series that needs to be experienced firsthand.
First, don't read this series for the smut. There is some hanky-panky, but it's a glacial burn, not very detailed, and feels like it was written for a YA series. (Although, if you like dirty talk, you are going to LOVE Wyatt and Quartz!) For me, this isn't really a bad thing, because I am way more of a plot reader than a smut reader. But I know it's something a lot of folks look for in reviews.
That sounds like a bad way to start a positive review, but I like ripping the Band-Aid off quickly, and that is really the only "negative" comment that I have, so I've ripped it off, and now we can get right to the good stuff!
I have been reading for 40 years, and I have never come across anything akin to this series. It is incredibly original and unique in how it's written, and I'm struggling to find a way to explain it to you. Most RH/WC have multiple, first person points of view (PoV), and this one is no different. However, unlike most, this series isn't told strictly from the primary characters' PoV. This one is told through the eyes of the main group, their individual wolves, and assorted friends, family, and colleagues' perspectives. I relished the opportunity to get to know these characters so very well. Many side characters also find their HEA in these pages, and it is very much a feel good story.
Here's a disclaimer. While this may be a feel good story, that doesn't take away from the fact that this series contains some darker themes, particularly those of domestic violence, child abuse, portrayal of autistic character, and mental health concerns such as PTSD - including flashbacks, hypervigilance, and panic attacks. Multiple characters seek outside help in the form of a pack therapist. That isn't an all inclusive list all of potential triggers, though, so read the author's content warnings and be mindful of your own mental health.
For me, this series is all about the character development. I absolutely adored the split between the human characters and their wolves. The wolves are just so much fun. I couldn’t help but fall in love with each of them. Just seeing a chapter header with one of the wolves made me grin and read faster. The sheer amount of personality written into each character, human and wolf, is simply staggering. I dare you to read it and not love Garnet, Quartz, Topaz, Granite, and Sid just as much as you love their boys. Go on. Try it.
I will say that having 12 main characters is a lot, and it took me a bit to be able to associate each wolf with its corresponding human. Things may get a little confusing at first, but the author does a magnificent job of maintaining separate, differing personalities, and it is absolutely worth a little more brain work to have the chance to really get to know everyone.
Watching Posy find solid footing and grow into a B.A.B. (bad *** *****) is pure joy. She is a delightfully innocent and naïve soul, but her lack of knowledge doesn't come across as childlike, which was a concern I had at the beginning. Reau (one of the side characters) is quite childlike in his behavior, though, and he will break your heart.
The actual plot is fairly simple. You won't find too many twists and turns here. By book 3, I had accepted that there isn't really a major, overarching storyline, so you don't really get a good grasp on what to expect from each book. There's no third act break-up. Almost zero OW/OM drama, and no ultimate bad guy who needs to be dealt with. Five Fangs is the story of what happens AFTER the bad guy gets what he deserves.
All in all, I loved the way this series was written. Every character is a delight to read, and the story gave me the warm fuzzies. 5/5 - I would definitely recommend.
Well I read all 5 of these books, straight through, so instead of leaving a review for all of them I’m going to leave my review on this one. No Spoilers beyond what you get in the blurb I promise.
The boys (her mates) are lovable bumbling idiots, some have tempers, some have sadness, some are just silly, but Posy is the perfect mate for all of them. Everything is not all hunky dory in paradise, but it gets better.
As you may notice in the upcoming paragraph of non “spoilered” text, though none of the books had 5 stars individually. The Series itself earned an over all 5 star rating from me. It handled the concepts of Trauma and resilience very well, in a way that I think the average person who hasn’t experienced it in a way that they’ll understand and relate with Posy and her boys.
Book 1: Standard Premise, pretty strong start to the overall story arc. No complaints. Posy is a pretty sweet and resilient FMC that somehow manages to see the good in everyone, despite her childhood. (4 stars) Book 2: Posy starts to come out of her shell a bit more, and making some friends outside of her Mates. (4 stars) Book 3: Posy and her brothers learn more about their family history, they begin a new journey of family and self discovery. (4.5 Stars) Book 4: Posy really embodies the concept of found families, Lark continues to be an adorable (and strong) little baby. More history is exposed. (4.5 stars) Book 5: Everything comes full circle, HEA, hard to believe it’s only been 3 months since everything started. 10/10. About the start baby boys story arc. (4.5 stars)
Mary Ann Weir thank you from my soul for writing these books!!! These books left me feeling a lot more healed than I've been in a long time. This is a shifter, supernatural series of books that will make u laugh, cry alot ( happy and sad tears) and take u on one hell of a ride. The characters in these books are remarkable in detail, u feel like u know them. Posy is so amazing in every way, shows u no matter what horrible things have happened to u never let it stop u from loving. Her mates are all unique and amazing and if I had them all I would love them equally but my favorite is Jayden and his wolf Quartz OMG that wolf 🐺 made me laugh out loud so hard I love his since of humor and just who he is, Jayden was blessed with that wolf. If u love amazing shifters and other magical beings that getsq justice and vengeance on the ones who hurt loved ones this is the books for u read them u won't regret it and everyone who deserves it needs a Reau in their life now go read these books so u know who I'm talking about.
The series has a great underlying plot and the author really knows how to drag emotions out of her characters and thus her readers. Each book introduces more side characters and the pack ends up with a massive diversity of paranormal characters. The only thing that makes me hesitant to commit to the 4 star rating is the steamy bedtime aerobics leave you feeling a bit off. The steam factor is very adult, but the characters revert to toddler to middle schoolish ages which adds a bit of an ick factor to the book. In fact, the characters that are involved in steamy activities are all supposed to be 18+, yet they all seem more middle school to early high school if not younger. Overall, it was an entertaining read and I did finish the series so there is that. I would read more from this author, but the childlike factor needs to level up to at least adulthood level if the steam factor is going to remain in place.
A must read funny ,loving and a just out of this world read.
Read all 5 books last few days and really enjoyed them they was funny which I totally loved. Although the abuse was in it at beginning it wasn't like other books which can be stomach turning. I did find it weird with the separate wolves part and how baby they where compared to other books but made it all the more funny . I.m up for fun and I liked the sex was clean but ranchy aswell not all to dark . Not a fan if the whole daddy thing. You done really well on this I.m sad it's finished now. Its kept me awake most nights not wanting to put it down. Think it's taken me 4 days to read them all. Once I get into a book that's it i got to finish it ASAP. So thank you for writing this💜
I do not understand how this book has more stars then the first book. This series started good and I surprised myself by still continuing after book three because that’s where it started to fall off for me. I had such high hopes because I enjoyed book one so much. This series could’ve ended forever ago the author just kept added random characters for no obvious reason. I mean it’s said that mates take time to find but every time you look up someone is mating. At one point the main characters stopped talking completely. It’s just uggggggh I hated this book. If you don’t believe me skip to the end there are 4 pages of characters and their offspring. I feel like I completely wasted my time.
I left all of the books each one I read left me first crying happy angry confused upsets I cried on everyone I read they all was so good so I give it two thumbs up and five stars I loved all the books the Posey books would that be more books on their kids when they get older or you don't know yet I just want to find out about the kids once they get older I love the books though and on a betas and a gamers and their kids and Families most importantly I want to know k o n find his mate
I don't do reviews normally but this series was unexpectedly awesome. The dynamics between the Alphas and the openness they show in other beings isn't normally found. Sometimes the squealing Alphas and the, how do I say this and not seem like a butt, but the feminine gestures through me is some spots. Reau was definitely one of my favorites and would have liked an ending into his life like when they discussed all the babies and mates at the end. I did read the series twice though so I really do suggest it
Home: Posy concludes Posy and her mates story and see her settling into her life with her mates. I absolutely loved this book, it is the perfect conclusion to the series. I love how far Posy has come from the first book and how strong she is by the end of this book. I also loved seeing the healing that some of the other characters in the book go through and how everyone who deserved it got their happy ending. Overall, an absolutely fantastic conclusion to one of my favourite series to read. I would recommend giving it a read.
Amazing book, i went through so many emotions with thus series ive cried more times out of sadness and joy than i have in a long time,i loved how u managed to bring asd and adhd into your story in such a way, i have a boy and girl wit both as am i... u hit the nail of the struggles on the head and i knew excatly what u was tlking about before u confirmed them! Was so suprised to see an author do this much rrsearch and word things so right that it was perfect and hit soooo close to home!so thank you for a truely amazing book 10/10 MUST READ
I started with book 1 about 4 days ago. I just finished book 5. This is the best series I have read since Harry Potter! I am heartbroken that it's ended. I feel SO connected to all the characters in the story, but especially Posy, Mason, Cole, Jayden, Ash and Wyatt. I feel like I'm losing good friends. Mary Ann Weir makes them come to life and it's just remarkable! And the humor she included was totally hilarious! Mary Ann, PLEASE write another follow up series about these characters and their offspring! I miss them already!
Post has become a powerful luna capable of healing and commanding members of her pack. She was willing to make a great personal sacrifice to merge Thoreau with Spring (his chosen wolf) after Thoreau's wolf and Spring's human had been killed. Post willingly went through great pain so the Moon Goddess could take away all of the terrible scars her step-father had inflicted on her. She also blessed her with triplet sons whose father's were each of Post's 5 alpha mates.
I cannot say enough good things about this series. Normally I read about 150-200 pages a day. I read the entire 5 book series in 2 days (about 1000 pages total)! This series follows Posy a runt shifter who was abused by her father from the time her mother died. She is saved by her mates and slowly learns how to be a functioning member of society. The story starts with just Posy's perspective but over time you get to see the first person of so many characters and it reflects the growth of Posy's world! This does discuss and describe abuse so be ware. Overall can't recommend this enough!
Love the five fang series! The 5 alphas are absolute simps, great family life and actually act their age. Posy has a hard background but they teach her how to be confidant in a safe and healthy way. (Even getting a therapist) lots of dark stuff happens in the past but this a great trauma recovering arc that I could not put down. All the characters are people with their own stories and own issues. All just trying to do their best. I don't normally see healthy pack dynamics in my books but man this made me actually want that.
I loved this series! Posy goes through a lot to get to her HEA but her pack is mostly loving and kind. Her mates would do anything for her and they shower her with love. Because she went through abuse, they have to step cautiously. Do they make mistakes? Absolutely! Do they learn and grow? They sure do.
Trigger warnings include both mental and physical abuse so be aware. Your mental health is very important.
Beautifully written. The story flowed effortlessly from one book to the next. I will admit, I skipped a bit over the sex scenes. I found the characters and their individual stories so fascinating to read. Then the overall pack story so supportive and integral to the main characters. The delicate balance and strength for each character to each other was simply beautiful. A must read in character definition who lead the story.
Best series I’ve read in awhile! Although paranormal in genre, the depth of the characters, true-life drama & antics that were brought to life could have easily been from any present day country, civilization or culture in the world. Haven’t laughed and or cried from reading in many years! A TRUE 100% TREAT- absolutely wish there were more books in this series, author makes the reader realize how horrible and how wonderful human nature can be and how blessed some can be and realize it❣️❣️❣️
This last book turned out to be really good, the only thing it didn’t say was did she graduated school and did the shifter school get built? The rest was so good and the epilogue was so pleasing. Oh and the other characters too you it to know how many kids or babies they had 🥰. It had a little bit of everything and some laughs too. Oh that is anything, I guess they did not know or found out about she was the one doing the pranks 😂
Decent conclusion to the series about Posy and her men. The epilogue takes place 6 years later and we find out almost everyone finds their fated mates and their pack is thriving. Still so many characters and to be honest I’m not sure if the story needed quite so many but overall, it was a good story.

I originally started reading Posy on Wattpad and when I saw Mary published them, I ran to buy them! I absolutely adore these stories and they are by far my FAVOURITE shifter books out there! They were so easy to read and I read them all so quickly!
I adore Posy and all the boys and love all their friends and families as well! So glad they all got happy endings 🖤
It is a beautiful ending for a beautiful story. I wish the author had explained a little bit about why Bram was acting out. It kind of left incomplete. I liked how Rosebud changed her dad, and that conversation with Mason was touching. I also wished that the author could've explained what the Moon Goddess meant by taking the scars as the price. I liked how the story ended, and overall, it was a perfect romantic story with a lot of touching sweet moments. 5-star.
This author brought my love of shifter stories alive with a wonderful storyline and well detailed characters that made me feel like I knew them. Real issues with ways to work through them (I won’t share for fear of giving away spoilers) but WOW - please continue to create bcz I laughed and cried so so many times
I absolutely loved the ending to this series. My favorites were all the different povs of other characters and finding their mates and just allvthe freaking love. Also getting to see their first time finding posy was beautiful. This series is definitely in my top favorites for shifters now!
This series of books was so interesting and fun to read. I loved how the author told the main story, but also the story of the other characters that they met. Excellent story well balanced. Couldn't stop reading until the last book . Very enjoyable reading. Will look for other books by author
