This book has come a long way from the previous books in the series. Although there was still some confusion within the storyline and a lot of plot to try and sift through, the development of the story and characters has come a long way. Telling this piece of the story from a different character's point of view was a nice change. I got into the plot more than in the previous books and didn't feel like the character interactions were quite as fake. Things are slowly starting to come together to create a better understanding for the reader, but there are still several loose ends and confusing plot twists that get jumbled along the way. I honestly read this book just so I could have some closure about the series, but was actually surprised about the development that has occured. At the end of this book you are left with an ending that leaves you wanting to find out more, but at the same time content with where the story is in that moment. I may actually consider reading the last book in the series when it comes out.

I'm taking off one star for the errors in the book but otherwise, I have throughly enjoyed this series. I received the first free on my Kindle and was hooked from the start. At first it seems like there are an awful lot of characters that don't seem to matter but hold on, they do all come into play by book #3. Can't wait for the next one and to see where things go from here! I was on the edge of my seat all through book 3# and it was totally worth it!

Good job! More please!!!!

A very good fantasy series with very poor editing. It becomes tiresome to continually be mentally correcting spelling and grammer when reading. However, when the story is a good, this is what I choose to do.
