My mother-in-law gave me a copy of this book so I would stop remorselessly stealing hers. Absolutely indispensable if you wish to start making dumplings or to expand your repertoire. The writing style is cozy, lovely, and amusing, and the recipes are well tested and easy to follow.
I have many German cookbooks, yet my Spätzel recipe is from this book.
