I would recommend this book for one reason alone: the instructions for how to roast a Chinese roast duck are invaluable! the pictures make it so much more accessible than any other instructions I've read. All the other recipes are good, but you could probably find similar things elsewhere (like in my favorite Asian cookbook, see other reviews). this is the best source for the tricky and involved process of cooking a Chinese roast duck, though.
