Ibn-e-Insaha is one of great humorist Urdu literature has ever produced. As being school kids an excerpt from his book "Chalte ho to Cheen Chaliye" (if you have to visit, visit China) was part of our syllabus, which I liked a lot.

This book is travelogue of author in places liked Philippine, Singapore, Japan, Afghanistan, Iran, UK (London), Paris and America.

It was written when author visited these countries on assignment related to UNESCO. Most of the book is written about author personal experiences of different places with historical anecdotes occasionally. Writing style of author is very charming along with occasional use of beautiful Urdu & Persian proverbs and words.

I liked the most chapters about Iran, London, Paris & Kabul.

interesting read, but I still consider his humor superior to his travel diaries.

Although ibn Insha is very brilliant writer but this book is extremely expansive and the print and paper quality is very poor. Paid 800 rupees for 158 pages, really disappointed from Lahore academy. Now I am feeling regretted whenever this book came into my sight. I recommend people not buy this book in hardcopy but download it from anywhere..

For someone like me, who has not read (or listened to) Ibn e Insha much, this was an absolute pleasure. Great job by Fawad Khan narrating this.
